Children at risk of influenza
A report on influenza shows that 77% of children who are eligible for free influenza vaccines have not received them.
Influenza is a serious respiratory infection which can result in the child being hospitalised.
If you would like any information or have questions or concerns, please book with one of our health professionals to discuss.
Influenza vaccinations are free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years and for those with asthma.

Your main responsibilities are greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments, maintaining records and performing administrative tasks in order to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice, and provide an exceptional standard of care to our patients

Cygnet Family Practice is happy to announce that we are able to re-open our books for patients to see the following General Practitioners Dr Tammy Bennetts and Dr Ingrid Smethurst.
To become a Cygnet Family Practice patient, you will need to have a 30-minute registration appointment with one of our registered nurses, which does incur a one-off registration fee of $50.00 for general patients and $25.00 for pension and health care card patients.

Nurses caring for people with diabetes
Cygnet Family Practice have received funding to develop a nurse led diabetes clinic. Nurse Practitioner Samantha Beattie
is leading the nursing team to improve systems which make sure the detailed care needed to prevent complications of
the disease is completed. People who attend our practice and who have diabetes, will soon be sent an invitation to join the project.
