Happy World Laughter Day from the Beenleigh Laughter Club 😄
Last night we came together to laugh for health, happiness and peace 🌏💛

There’s something magical about a group of people choosing laughter as a way to boost their wellbeing and send a little more kindness out into the world.

As Dr Madan Kataria says:
“When you laugh, you change. When you change, the whole world changes.”

What a fun and uplifting Laughter Club session today! 😄
It was great to share the benefits of laughter, play, deep breathing and connection with you all — and to welcome three first-timers. So good!

Thank you for your willingness to try something new, your sense of playfulness, your wonderful laughter, and your kindness.

Thanks to everyone who joined me for Music & Movement at Bethania Community Centre today. What a joyful brain/body workout! We shared a healthy mix of play, laughter, movement and music — and the energy in the room said it all. With participants ranging from 1 to 85, it truly was the ultimate in intergenerational fun and connection.

Moments like these remind me how powerful it is when we come together across generations — moving, laughing, singing and simply enjoying being present with one another.

Thanks for your smiles, energy, and willingness to play. I loved every minute and hope you did too! 💛🎶 Georgie

Looking for something to do with the kids this week? Bethania Community Centre has lots of fun FREE activities planned for Youth Week. We'll be dropping in on Thursday for a Music & Movement session. Come along and experience the joy of Ageless Grace Brain Health Fitness. Connect with your kids/grandkids and boost your overall health and mood with simple playful movements set to music. It's a seated program so perfect for all ages and abilities.

We have so much fun together during our music & movement sessions. We play, move, laugh (and often sing) our way to better body and brain health.

With only two more classes left for the year, now is the perfect time to try it out. Finish the year feeling energised. Join us this Friday 28th November, 9:30am at Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre. Everyone is welcome.
