📍 Dalby | Oakey | St George | Chinchilla Goondir Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations for Health Services (Goondir Health Services - Goondir) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) providing primary health care and related health services to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities from Oakey in the South East of Queensland Australia to St George in the South West of Queensland Australia. Goondir Health Services’ Medical Clinics are located in the townships of Dalby and St George with an Aboriginal Health Worker providing services from the Miles Hospital. Clients’ from the other communities of interest are either seen by Goondir visiting regional staff or present for appointments at either the St George or Dalby Clinics. Other communities of interest include Oakey, Jandowae, Surat, Dirranbandi, Thallon, Chinchilla, Tara and their surrounding areas. Goondir Health Services acknowledges all support provided by the Australian Government.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness – Chinchilla Clinic

This month we’re raising awareness about ovarian cancer in our community. In Australia, around 5 women are diagnosed every day — and symptoms can often be vague or mistaken for other conditions.

Know the signs:
• Bloating or swelling
• Pelvic/abdominal pain
• Feeling full quickly
• Urinary changes or bowel changes
Awareness saves lives — wear a teal ribbon and help ensure no woman walks this journey alone.
