Weekend Recap: The One I Should've Booked Myself Into!
Note to self: next time, don’t miss out on all the fun!

Friday: 8 brave souls entered Luna Park’s Halloween zone… and left slightly more haunted than they arrived. Spooks, jumpscares, and rides that made us scream louder than the ghosts!

Saturday: We shook all night long at the Guns N’ Roses tribute night! Vicky and Jamie literally joined the band on stage. Legends were born. Ears are still ringing.

Weekend Away: Rain? What rain? We stayed in stunning Yarra Valley properties and partied Oktoberfest-style. Schnitzels, Strudel, craft beer, and belly laughs—proof that soggy weekends can still be sensational!

A couple of our very own legends recently took to the stage in the powerful theatre production The Weathering — an inclusive ensemble show that celebrates creativity, resilience, and community.
We’re beyond proud of their incredible performances and the courage it takes to share their stories through the arts. 👏👏

What. A. Weekend!
We packed in the fun with a mix of adventures and entertainment across three days!
🚐 Weekend Away to Bendigo
We explored a peaceful Buddhist temple, sang our hearts out on the Groove Train, got competitive with mini golf, and even panned for gold! Bendigo—you were brilliant! ✨
🎶 Friday Night Crew
A small group headed to The Stomping Ground for a delicious dinner and live music. Good vibes and great tunes all around! 🍽️🎸
Saturday Spotlight
Another group hit The Round to watch Grease Babirra—and yes, we sang along! It was electrifying! 🎤
Sunday Explorers
We cracked codes in an escape room and then stepped back in time at the historical museum in Tooradin. A perfect mix of mystery and history! 🕵️‍♀️
So many choices, so many smiles—thanks to everyone who joined in! 💙

We’re thrilled to announce something fabulous coming your way in 2026!
For over 15 years, the Hallam Disco has been a much-loved monthly event, bringing together over 120 attendees from many different services to dance, laugh, and connect. Now, we’re bringing that same energy to the North!
🕺 Northside Monthly Disco – Macleod Day Service

📅 When: 3rd Saturday of every month starting Saturday January 17th!

📍 Where: Macleod Day Service

🎶 What’s Happening:
DJ playing all your favourite tunes
Door prizes
Great vibes and friendly faces!
💵 Cost: $15 entry (Carers FREE!)
We’d love to see you there! Please let us know if you’re interested in attending so we can get an idea of numbers for our very first disco.

🎶 Musical Escapes Weekend!
What a weekend! We hit the road to Bendigo for gold panning, delicious dining, and smooth Jazz on the Groove Tram! 🎷
Meanwhile, our theatre crew rocked up to Grease at The Round, decked out in T-Bird and Pink Lady tops — we sang, danced, and had an absolute blast! 💃🕺
Back in Berwick, a few legends cracked the code in an Escape Room and even grabbed the cash! 💰
We also enjoyed a tasty dinner at The Stomping Ground and wrapped up with laughs and good vibes at Friday Night Social.

Are you ready for your next adventure? For the first time ever, we’re heading to Byron Bay in February 2026 — and it’s going to be unforgettable!
We’ll be staying 5 nights / 6 days at the beautiful Outrigger Bay Resort, enjoying stunning coastlines, waterfalls, glow worm caves, and the magical Crystal Castle. Byron Bay is known for its celebrity hot spots, cool cafes, and laid-back charm — and we’ll be soaking it all in!
🧳 What’s Included:
Return flights
Accommodation at Outrigger Bay Resort
All meals
Mini bus hire to explore the region
Visits to waterfalls, glow worm caves, Crystal Castle & more!
💰 Costs:
Out-of-pocket expense: Approx. $1750

The last two weeks? ICONIC.
We kicked things off at Metart World, where the art was wild and yes — we sat on the Iron Throne like true royalty (or at least tried to without falling off ).
Then we hit up Naked Racer for dinner and tunes — because nothing says classy like eating next to vintage motorbikes while vibing to live music. 🎶
At Slattery Place, we became MasterChefs in our own kitchens. No fire alarms were triggered, so we’re calling that a win.🔥
Yoga? Oh yeah. We balanced on one leg like flamingos in a windstorm.
And the Melbourne Show? Rides, animals, snacks, and showbags — we did it all and probably still have fairy floss in our hair.
To top it off, our Halloween Disco was next-level spooky. You guys came dressed to distress — creepy, kooky, and totally fabulous. 👻🕷🧛‍♀️
We laughed, we danced, we conquered. October, you’ve been a vibe.

🎬 Saturday: Flicks & Dandy Market lunch
🌊 Sunday: SEA LIFE – we saw what we could SEA! 🐠🐧
🏞️ Halls Gap Getaway:
🦓 Zoo fun, crackling fireplaces, and then…
🏚️ A chilling tour of J Ward Lunatic Asylum in Ararat – once home to Victoria’s criminally insane.
We walked the old gaol halls, heard tales of murderers, madness, and ghostly whispers 👻
Let’s just say… we were glad to leave with all our marbles intact!
Big laughs, bold stories, and a weekend to remember. Who’s brave enough for the next one?
