Hi everyone!

Many customers have asked what is the meaning of our store’s name, Tao. Effectively, Tao is the translation of a Chinese word 道, and which is the core concept of Taoist culture. Tao is reckoned as the origin of the universe and also is a rule in the universe the law of all sports. And Tao is expressed more commonly in a theory called Yin and Yang, which is a perspective and methodology originated in ancient China with the unity of opposites being its central premise. Yin-Yang is the generation of the two opposite aspects of things or phenomena which are interrelated in the natural worlds. Yin and Yang represent not only the two inter-opposite things or forces, but also the two inter-opposite aspects existing within one object. One representation of this is Tai Chi, a traditional china philosophy. The word Tai Chi is invisible power, it cannot be moved from one place to another, more like the changing from inside, this interior motion is Yang, also the static state is Yin. This concept is more commonly known as Taijiquan, a Chinese traditional martial art.
