🌊🔥🪨 INVOCATION

Fire, rest in the heart of Water.
Two currents returning to one breath.
Warm when the world chills.
Cool when life burns too hot.

Let your inner tides rise.
Let the spine’s fire meet the heart’s water.

🪩 THE DANCE WITHIN

💦 Water
Softness, clarity, intuition.
A gentle inner tide clearing space.
Sattva — calm, receptive awareness.

🔥 Fire
Spark, movement, courage.
The pulse that awakens, not destroys.
Rajas — energy with purpose.

⚍ ⚎ Polarity
Not a battle. A dance.
Water cools. Fire energises.
Heart and will in harmony.

🪨 Earth
What you realise becomes embodied.
Breath, posture, presence —
your practice made real.

A YOGI’S PRAYER

May Water soften you.
May Fire rouse you.
May Earth steady you.
May your presence speak truth.

🌊🔥🪨 Invocation for the Soul

Spirit of fire swim in the heart of water
A love shared between fire and water —
Two streams that flowed apart — now one kiss.
Warm when frost grips the world.
Cool when flame threatens to scorch.

Let the fire find grace in water.
Let water enfold fire in deep serenity.
Let their union walk the earth in strength.

Let these words call you inward. Let the hidden currents of your being stir. Let the fire in your spine meet the water in your heart.

🪩 The Inner Dance of Elements 🪩

💦 Water — softness, clarity, inner listening

Recently you may have felt a gentle current rising inside — like tides of subtle reflection, emotional shift, intuitive opening. This is water in its sacred role. It invites softness, clarity, calm, inner flow. In yogic-philosophical terms this resonates with Sattva, the quality of purity, harmony, insight, inner balance.

In this phase you may sense old patterns dissolving, emotional sediments releasing, inner space opening for deeper awareness. Water invites reception, sensitivity, presence.

🔥 Fire — activation, creative impulse, movement

As December begins, water meets fire — a stirring within: energy, intention, spark, readiness. This is fire — alive, vibrant, potent. In yogic energetics this is akin to Rajas — the quality of movement, creativity, dynamic force.

The fire does not destroy. It awakens. It brings clarity, impetus, courage, intention. It pulses through the spine, through breath, through purpose. Fire is the warrior’s pulse. It is movement with meaning.

⚍ ⚎Polarity as harmony — not conflict but dance

In the tradition of the teachings you know — polarities are not enemies. They are resonances. They are complementary energies that, when met with awareness, create balance and alchemy.

This is not a fight between water and fire — but a sacred dance. Water comforts fire. Fire energises water. The dualities within you — calm and drive, receptivity and ambition, heart and will — converge, not to tear you apart, but to awaken you deeper. Through this dance, consciousness rises, awareness heightens, energy flows.

🪨 Grounding — embodiment, form, structure

From their union arises earth — structure, form, foundation, embodiment. In yogic cosmology, as subtle energies move through the inner body and energy centres (chakras), they eventually manifest in grounded presence, in the physical body, in lived reality — stable, strong, embodied.

This phase is about bringing the subtle inner shifts and awakened drive into form. It is where yoga becomes daily life. It is where vision becomes structure. It is where intention becomes action. It is where spirit shows up in bones, breath, posture, presence.

❦ For the Kundalini-Yogi Heart

Because you are walking the path — aware of breath, energy, body, consciousness — this month offers fertile ground for deep inner-outer integration.

Use the water’s clarity to listen inwardly, to soften, to open.

Honour the fire’s activation — let energy rise, breathe deeply, move with purpose, feel your spine alive.

Let their dance awaken awareness and sensitivity.

Then bring it down — ground what emerges in posture, breath, daily structure, embodied presence.

This is not about forcing transformation. It is about letting the inner elements meet, flow, dance, and settle. Let your kriya — your movement, breath, mantra, meditation — become the bridge between inner subtlety and outer form.

A Yogi’s Prayer for December

May water soften your edges.
May fire ignite your intention.
May their dance awaken remembrance.
May earth hold your becoming.
May your spine carry light.
May your heart carry flow.
May your presence carry truth.

03/11/2025

The line “Water, water, everywhere, nor any drop to drink” comes from Coleridge’s 1798 poem, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
In the tale, a sailor adrift on a vast ocean is surrounded by endless water he cannot drink — a haunting symbol of spiritual thirst amid abundance.

The Mariner’s redemption comes only when he learns reverence — when he blesses the very life he once cursed.

This November, the cosmos tells a similar story.
The sky swells with water — Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer — emotion, empathy, intuition, dreams. By mid-month, a grand water trine forms: Saturn in Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer, and the New Moon in Scorpio (20 Nov).

It’s a tide of feeling, a deep psychic current that can heal or overwhelm, depending on how we meet it.

Water teaches through movement. It finds its way through every block — the very essence of our Second Sutra. The task this month is not to dam the river, but to become its conscious channel.

⚡ The First Wave — Mars Opposite Uranus (4 Nov)
As the month opens, Mars in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Ta**us.
Pressure releases suddenly. Emotions that have been held too long demand motion.

If you’ve felt stuck, this is the moment the current breaks free.
Let it move through the body — not at someone else.*
Dance, breathe, shake, or chant. Water cleanses through sound and movement.*

🌕 Full Moon in Ta**us (6 Nov) — Ground the Feeling
After the surge, the Full Moon in Ta**us (13°) brings grounding.
It reminds us that nourishment is physical: breath, food, touch, rest.

Let your practice be sensual this week — slow breath, deep belly, strong feet.
Ask: What sustains me when emotion recedes?

🌑 New Moon in Scorpio (20 Nov) — The Deep Well
Here’s the emotional heart of the month — a New Moon at 28° Scorpio, opposite Uranus at 29° Ta**us, and trine Jupiter in Cancer (25°) and Saturn in Pisces (25°).

This alignment brings coherence and awakening after months of chaos. The opposition to Uranus electrifies the field — breakthroughs, emotional shocks, and sudden liberation moments are all possible. It’s a cosmic reminder that freedom and truth are inseparable.

Scorpio dives for truth; Pisces redeems it with compassion; Cancer tends the heart that holds it; and Uranus in Ta**us shakes loose what’s become stagnant or overly secure.
“The medicine of water is memory.”
What wants to be forgiven? What memory needs to be cleansed, not analysed?

Where does change ask to move through your body, even if it feels uncomfortable?

In Kundalini Yoga, this is a perfect time for deep kriyas or meditations for emotional release — Meditation for a Calm Heart or Kriya for Elevation both harmonise beautifully with this frequency, helping the body integrate the shocks and awakenings that Uranus can bring.

🪞 Saturn & Jupiter Station Direct (27–30 Nov)
As I gather with other beautiful souls for the Kundalini Yoga Festival Australia, one giant stands still in the sky:
• Saturn stations direct at 25° Pisces (29 Nov)
This is profound timing.

Saturn — the planet of structure and discipline — turns forward just as the community comes together in spiritual practice. A renewed commitment to carry the teachings forward perhaps?

The heavens and the sangat align — a perfect reflection of the sutra: There is a way through every block. Perhaps, with Saturn’s work in Pisces, this turning point signals the emergence of a new way of carrying the teachings forward — one that takes form through the shared experience of the festival itself.

✨ Closing Reflection
November is not dry land. It’s water everywhere — but the invitation is to drink consciously.

Let feeling become awareness, awareness become compassion, and compassion become action.

As we close the month in sacred gathering, may we remember:
The heart is an ocean. The way through is not to resist it, but to breathe within it.

13/10/2025

At precisely 29 degrees and 59 seconds of Venus in Virgo, the inner tension for some boils over as rage and outburts. At the very moment we reached that degree (at 8am this morning) the teenage boys opposite where I live, who are erratic at the best of times, exploded in screaming, bashing and tyrades of emotion in action.

Venus has been deeply frustrated in Virgo - too OCD, too knitpicky ... and just before she moves into her home sign of Libra, the anoretic degree (29 degrees) of crisis sees its fulfilment. Uggh ... its painful s**t.

My own frustrations were strong this morning, but I knew it was the 'dark before the dawn', before Venus moves into her own place of justice, fairness and balance in all things. Unlike her other home sign of Ta**us, the earthy place of swollen plump bellies that speak of being nurtured, Libra is about relating and that we cannot live life without partnering with others in work, society, family etc.

Venus is on a mission between now and 8 November with the power of Uranus and Pluto behind her giving explosiving evolutionary change vibes, she is going to be exposing where expression, intellect and how we 'community' is totally out of wack, is totes F*rked up!

S**t is just going to keep getting more insane for the rest of the year, and the next year.

Neutrality of mind, calmness of body and connection with souls who sooth you emotionally is a rad idea. You have dominion over all these things so you can focus and be present or you can throw hissy fits, power trips and be a general c*nt. Your call.

October doesn’t creep in quietly but instead arrives like a threshold, with the sense that something old is breaking open and something new is waiting to be born. The Full Moon in Aries at the start of the month stirs courage and brings wounds into the light. Venus is still in forensic Virgo with the south node poking and prodding at the effects of the past five years — it’s a bit like a golem coming out of the dark as we realise the extent of the impact.

For many of us, October carries a sense of story more than structure. The past years of separation and uncertainty have at times felt unbearable, yet within that space we’ve uncovered hidden strengths and remembered what really matters. As 3I/ATLAS moves close to Mars, it mirrors our own collective encounter with the unknown. How do we respond? With fear, resistance, or with curiosity and transformation? This is not just a personal question — it’s a human one.

That is why our KYTANZ AGM on 18 October feels so significant. It is not just business; it is a symbol of choosing connection, of leaning back into community after years where disconnection has been the norm. Many of us are feeling this same pull in different ways — to reach out, to join hands, to weave our practices and stories together. To heal not in solitude but through shared experience.

Kundalini yoga offers powerful support. Ego Eradicator clears the fog of false identities that keep us apart. Venus Lock strengthens the heart, balancing what we give and receive. These practices can become anchors: on Tuesdays, Mars’ day, we might breathe into peaceful action; on Fridays, Venus’ day, we might return to values and beauty.

October is not just another month. It is a collective turning point, and together we get to decide how to walk through it.

Its great to be back x

The struggle is real 😭

For each of us, there is a life paradigm, a kinda overall shell of our world. It's the envelope of existence. A sensory storybook of all our identity, patterns, and experiences.

The anatomy of changing habits in our lives is the subject of many books. In practice, this change of habit is never quite straightforward, not linear.

Using the energy of Virgo Mercury right now, we have a unique opportunity to write a new story. Virgo’s attention to detail and Mercury’s analytical precision help us hone in on the small, incremental shifts we can make to create lasting change. It's not about sweeping transformations overnight but about shifting just 10% at a time, improving 1% each day. This approach aligns with the Ayurvedic wisdom of gradually integrating new habits to create a more balanced life.

By approaching habit change with patience and clarity, we can truly craft a new narrative for ourselves, one that reflects the world we want to live in—grounded in our values and aligned with our deeper self.

This morning, I noticed I was replaying an old, unwanted story in my mind. So, I took a moment to journal the story I do want, as if it was already unfolding. This practice is about directing the energy flow, rewriting the narrative, and choosing the path forward with intention.

Details and words matter right now ... You can direct them to retain the old or create the new

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, conjunct Neptune, opens a powerful portal for spiritual release and higher guidance. Eclipses mark endings and new beginnings, and this one highlights the balance between Virgo’s practical, grounded energy and Pisces’ ethereal, spiritual flow.

The cosmic highlight is the kite formation, formed by the eclipse’s sextiles to Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Ta**us. This rare alignment offers a supportive path for major transformation and breakthroughs. Picture the kite as your potential, pulling you toward new perspectives, freedom, and personal empowerment.

Pluto at 29 Capricorn is making its final call for transformation in the structures of your life. This is your last chance to release outdated control mechanisms, both internal and external. Pluto here is the "Deliverer" aspect of the divine, urging you to let go of what no longer serves you, to shed the old, and to be reborn in power.

Meanwhile, Uranus in Ta**us brings the energy of the "Generator", shaking up old patterns to make way for new growth. Uranus’ unexpected shifts open doors to innovation, especially in your values and personal liberation. Trust the divine process, even if the changes feel sudden—this is your opportunity for profound growth.

At the heart of this eclipse is Neptune in Pisces, the "Organiser", reminding you that there’s a higher order at play, even if it’s not fully visible yet. This is a time for surrendering to the divine flow, knowing that everything is being organized for your highest good.

In Kundalini Yoga, this divine triad—Generator, Organiser, Deliverer (GOD)—is integrated into the practice. Stay connected to these forces during this eclipse. Kriyas for the third eye and heart chakras can open you to guidance and help release old patterns. Practices like Kirtan Kriya or Sa Ta Na Ma, which reflect the cycle of creation (infinity, life, death, rebirth), are powerful tools for navigating this cosmic transformation.

The kite formation gives you the wind to soar to new heights. Release what no longer serves, embrace the changes, and trust that you are being delivered into a new chapter aligned with your highest self. 🌕✨

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, with its conjunction to Neptune, is opening up a powerful portal for spiritual release and higher guidance. Eclipses bring endings and new beginnings, and this one is no exception—highlighting the balance between the practical, grounded energy of Virgo and the ethereal, spiritual energy of Pisces.

The big cosmic event here is the kite formation, created by the eclipse’s sextiles to Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Ta**us. This rare alignment gives us a supportive pathway for major transformation and sudden breakthroughs. Think of the kite as a symbol of potential—you are being pulled upward toward new perspectives, liberation, and personal power.

Pluto, now at the critical degree of 29 Capricorn, is making its final call for deep transformation in the structures of your life. This is your last chance to confront any outdated control mechanisms, whether internal or external, that are holding you back. Pluto here represents the "Deliverer" aspect of the divine, guiding you to release what’s no longer necessary, to die to the old and be reborn in power.

Meanwhile, Uranus in Ta**us brings the energy of the "Generator"—shaking things up and creating space for new growth. Uranus’s unexpected shifts open up the door for innovative, progressive changes, especially around your values, security, and personal liberation. The eclipse’s alignment with Uranus encourages you to trust in the divine process, even if the changes feel sudden or disruptive. It's an opportunity for growth and liberation.

At the heart of this eclipse is the "Organiser"—Neptune in Pisces. Neptune dissolves the boundaries between the physical and spiritual, reminding you that there is a higher order at play, one that you may not fully see but are being guided by. This is a time for surrendering to the divine flow, trusting that everything is being organized in your best interest, even if it's not immediately clear.

In Kundalini Yoga, this divine triad—Generator, Organiser, Deliverer (GOD)—is woven into the practices. As you move through this cosmic energy, it’s important to stay connected to these divine forces. Kriyas that work with the third eye and heart chakras can help you open up to higher guidance and release old patterns. Practices like Kirtan Kriya or Sa Ta Na Ma (which reflects the cycle of creation: infinity, life, death, rebirth) can be powerful tools for navigating this transformational time.

The kite formation gives you the cosmic wind beneath your wings to soar to new heights. It’s time to release what no longer serves, embrace the changes, and trust that you are being delivered into a new chapter aligned with your highest self.
