Taking time out for the 3 R’s is SO important! Rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Even 10 minutes a day of some type of meditation or breathwork or even just some quiet contemplation can help with that underlying stress and anxiety. Can you feel it? It can feel like a tight chest, breathing faster, increased heart rate, shorter temper, decreased tolerance, headaches, neck and back pain, nausea, lightheadedness, tired eyes, feeling of complete overwhelming doom. If you don’t take time out to replenish your mind and body….. your body will do it for you. Read that sentence again. High stress and anxiety will cause your body to go into fight flight mode and cause symptoms that will make you sick. In order to rest, digest and heal you need to make the time.
