We’ve missed you!

GSO is opening on Monday 11th October in accordance with NSW Health guidelines:
• We see fully vaccinated people only, until 1st December
• 4 clients maximum allowed in our retail space
• Check in and wear face covering before entering our premises
• If you are immuno-compromised please call and we will arrange to see you appropriately

As such, we are refining our operating procedures:
• Outdoor waiting rooms, separate seating for eye tests and retail
• Entry and exits have changed

You can help us by:
• Calling or emailing to make an appointment for ALL our services
• Understanding we have time limits:
Eye examinations (60min)
Frame Selections (30min)
Collections (15min)
Repairs and adjustments (15min)

We are excited! We can’t wait to get back to work, refreshed and with the same dedication to customer service. We understand that our GSO world has changed a bit and as business cranks up again we ask for your patience and understanding. We genuinely get a thrill putting specs on your great faces and we can’t wait to SEE you again!

Look who we found in the consult room!
Yep, we’re back from Monday 18th May. Mon-Fri 10-6 and Sat 10-5. We will be implementing an appointment system to ensure we have no more than 2 customers in the store at one time. This will also allow us to make sure it’s sparkling clean for you!
So please call us to make an appointment for all of our services including eye tests, frame selections, adjustments, collecting or dropping off spectacles, contact lenses, repairs, etc.
We look forward to pressing the play button and getting back to helping you look great and see clearly! 👀👀

We are working hard to continue to provide the customer service you are accustomed to.

So, in line with the NSW Government's directive to practice more effective social distancing we are implementing some changes at GSO:

On the upside:
*There will be someone in the practice during our new trading hours.
*We will be taking orders for contact lenses and posting directly to you.
*We can also dispense certain single vision spectacles if required.
*We can assess urgent repairs; please email photos of the damaged frame and we will contact you with the verdict.

On the safe side:
*Unfortunately we will not be providing eye examinations. *We will allow only one customer in the shop at any one time.

COVID update:

We want to keep providing you with the best eyecare possible under the current circumstances. This will involve minimising person-to-person contact, thus reducing the risk to yourself and our community.

We ask that any clients that have been in close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of coronavirus in the last 14 days , please go through the recommended 14 day self-isolation period before attending the practice . We also ask that if you currently have any cold or flu symptoms that you reschedule your appointment and your visit to the shop.

Our team will be diligent in keeping the practice clean, including wiping down all surfaces on a regular basis and maintaining spectacle frame hygiene.

Collecting glasses and contact lenses
* We are promoting the posting of spectacles, contact lenses and repairs where possible. Posting will be free of charge (as always). Please call to pay and confirm your postal address.
*If you are collecting in person please call to arrange a time – 9360 7487.

Eye testing
* In view of current guidelines including social distancing and limiting enclosed person-to-person contact to a maximum of 15 minutes, we ask that appointments be made for essential eye tests only. Please phone us to discuss individual needs - 9360 7487.

Trading hours
*We will remain open until we are advised otherwise. However, we will have new trading hours:
Mon 12pm-5pm
Tues 10am-3pm
Wed 1pm-6pm
Thurs 11am-6pm
Fri 1pm-6pm
Sat 10am-3pm
