Holdsworth House Medical Practice is a committed team of doctors and nurses providing comprehensive

Holdsworth House is a comprehensive GP medical centre with onsite dental centre, psychology services, allied health centre and medical research facilities. These services are conveniently located in central Sydney and Brisbane. Doctors at the medical centre provide an extensive range of services including: Sexual health check-ups and treatments, men's and women's healthcare, and travel medicine. The medical centre at Holdsworth House has established itself as a hub for urban and remote healthcare services, reinforced by an onsite affiliate dental centre that provides restorative, cosmetic and dental hygiene services. Holdsworth House clinical research unit has participated in research since our Sydney practice was founded, and the semi-autonomous research unit has grown to become one of Sydney's most ambitious and comprehensive. Psychologists and psychotherapists situated onsite offer counselling and therapies, and our network of allied health practitioners provide a wide variety of complementary services in Sydney, Brisbane and Byron Bay.

Congratulations on a former Holdsworth House Medical Practice GP who has become the nations top Doctor

Professor Michael Kidd AO has been appointed as Australia’s new Chief Medical Officer!

A highly respected medical leader, esteemed GP, educator and UNSW Medicine & Health academic, Prof Kidd, has served as president of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the World Organization of Family Doctors, and was Deputy CMO during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He is the Director of the International Centre for Future Health Systems at UNSW, and starts his role in the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care in June.
