BDMS Community Services would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all our amazing team members — our true Cyclone Heroes. Your dedication and swift action ensured the safety of all our participants during the catastrophic events of Cyclone Fina. Your courage and commitment embody the very spirit of community care. 💙
We also sincerely thank the Northern Territory Government, the Chief Minister, the NT Police, SES, and every emergency service team involved for keeping the public informed and safe throughout this event. Your timely updates and continuous support have made a tremendous difference.
While authorities have not yet declared conditions fully normal, we urge everyone to stay indoors unless travel is absolutely necessary. Your safety remains our top priority.

Severe Tropical Cyclone Fina is now a category three system, having strengthened in the Van Diemen Gulf this morning. It comes as the system is expected to bring wild weather to the Tiwi Islands and Darwin today.
