Friday 20th I spoke 🎤 in front of 86 people from around the world virtually. Not only did I speak, I got to hear my my fellow speakers share their inspiring stories.
⁣⁣⁣
We were taught how to structure our TEDx Style Speech, and this was a goal I wanted to work towards in the distant future. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
My peers extracted gold out of me, so I decided that I needed to share more about my Culture and Aboriginal Heritage, the title of my speech: ⁣⁣⁣
"𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬?"🦘🪃⁣⁣⁣

In the past,I have been coached to achieve rapid results, but never have I been pushed this hard . Annnnnd I loved it!! 🥰⁣⁣⁣

✅Was I uncomfortable, YES ⁣⁣⁣
✅Was I tired, YES⁣⁣⁣
✅Was I unsure of the unknown, YES⁣⁣⁣
✅Have I grown, YES⁣⁣⁣

What I realised is that I was playing small and so now I am really going ALL IN with my Speaking Business.⁣⁣⁣

This is a massive vulnerable moment for me... Because I have never done this before, and it's uncomfortable 😑⁣
⁣
I know I cannot do this alone..So I am here putting myself out there to ask for community support. 🙏🏽⁣

I am not sure if you know, but earlier this month I auditioned for The International Legacy Pageant in Sydney, July 10th-11th, 2025.⁣
⁣
It only felt right that I give it a go, and the reason why was that it would be a great opportunity to continue my advocacy work and spread my message out there to the world to champion the following: ⁣
⁣
✅Raise Awareness for better care and support for those who've experienced a TBI, Traumatic⁣
✅Provide World-Class Leadership Programs focused on empowering the Youth, because they are our future leaders⁣
✅Brain Injury and Head Injuries, due to Family and Domestic Violence.⁣
✅Be a voice for those who are yet to discover who they are authentically, to be Audacious, raw, and courageous⁣
✅Create Intergenerational Wealth through Business Leadership ⁣
⁣
So here goes! 😥⁣

I am so honoured to announce 📢 I was successful! I was invited to compete! ⁣
And now I am going to Nationals, but there's 1️⃣ problem. ⁣
⁣
I won't be able to unless I raise the funds because I took 10 months off working, I lost my confidence, stopped caring for myself, and fell into a depressive cycle. I just needed time off to reset and recalibrate for what's to come this year and 2026. I have many big plans to impact the communities I am in. ⁣
⁣
My WHY behind entering this Pageant has never been clearer.⁣
- I dedicate this to the Women who've lost their lives due to Domestic and Family violence⁣
- I dedicate this to my mob and my community - If I can do this, so can you! ⁣
- I dedicate this to the people who've experienced a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) like myself, who, been influenced to feel inadequate or disabled from the medical diagnosis limitations and stigma we have experienced. ⁣
⁣
My message - "The trauma that you've experienced does not define you." ⁣
⁣
My purpose here on planet earth is to be the beacon of HOPE that people seek, and this goes out to those who are yet to discover who they are authentically and unleash their inner power! ⁣
⁣
Furthermore,⁣
I discovered that I am the very 1st Aboriginal Woman🖤💛❤️ to enter the International Legacy Pageant, which is a milestone achievement in itself.🎉⁣

So I will you stand beside me in this journey? ⁣

When is ENOUGH, ENOUGH?⁣

Let's talk about commitment—or rather, the lack thereof. It's a topic that often lurks in the shadows of our intentions, affecting not just ourselves but everyone around us. Here's the deal:⁣⁣

1. Failing to be congruent, is like saying one thing and feeling another. It forces us to look inward and ask the tough questions: What do I really want? It's about aligning our actions with our true desires.⁣⁣

2. Not following through with your word. Oooph, we've all been there, right? It's not just about promises broken; it's about trust, reliability, and integrity. When we don't honor our word, we undermine the foundation of our relationships.⁣⁣
