A successful forum held this morning at the Palmerston Golf and Country Club.

The forum was opened by His Honour, The Administrator of the Northern Territory, followed by a Q&A with Minister for Health, Hon Steve Edgington MLA.

Was great to get an insight into upcoming rehab programs and reconstruction options available in the NT.

Thanks again to Palmerston Golf and Country Club and Cazalys - Palmerston Club for making this forum possible. Thanks also to Helloworld Travel Darwin for their donation of a $500 voucher.

Millie the breast screen bus is due to set sail on her 2025 voyage next week! She’ll be visiting 21 remote (& some very remote!) communities across the NT. 🚌💕

🚏 Her first stop will be Darwin, where she’ll be parked up and welcoming clients (by appointment) from 28 April – 2 May. She’ll then continue to stops including Wurrumiyanga, Daly River, Katherine, Borroloola, Tennant Creek, Ti Tree, Hermannsburg, Yuendumu, and Harts Range.

📲 If you’re 40+ and wish to make an appointment for a free mammogram on Millie, call us on 13 20 50 or email breastsscreennt.ths@nt.gov.au to book. 📧

ℹ️ Millie provides mammograms to over 1,000 clients every year who may otherwise not have access to these services. Last year, 1102 clients were screened, and 16,000 kilometres were covered.

👩‍⚕️ Across all screening sites, including Casuarina, Palmerston and Alice Springs fixed locations, 6164 clients were screened, with 58 breast cancers diagnosed.
