We are immensely pleased to be involved once more in this important occasion, so please MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Handback 40th Anniversary Festivities – 25 October 2025.
On 26 October 1985, the title deeds for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa were handed back to the Aṉangu people by the Governor-General of Australia in a landmark event known as Handback. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Handback. To commemorate this milestone, Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park will host a public celebration concert on Saturday, 25 October. The concert will take place at the Talinguṟu Nyakunytjaku sunrise location and will include inma (traditional dance and ceremony), live performances, markets, and more.
