"Combust" or "Astam" (a Sanskrit term meaning "set" or "hidden") typically strong effects occur when the Planet is within a few degrees of the Sun and its influence is said to be overpowered or weakened by the Sun’s intense energy, however Saturn Sun will basically be together 15th March through to mid April when Sun moves to Aries.

Sun Saturn, phenomenona is a yearly event and has specific implications due to its nature and relationship between the Sun and Saturn. They are not friendly at all and completely opposite to each other in many ways. Saturn is son of the Sun.

Father issues flare up.

Saturn, a slow-moving, outer planet, has an annual conjunction with the Sun this year in Pisces.

The Sun-Saturn Relationship is a difficult one that involves father figures, authority Government, world soul, your false ego, vitality, leadership.

While the Sun rules your heart and Backbone, Saturn (Shani) rukes our skin & indicates delays, pressures, slowness,hard work, efficiency, time & time management, discipline organisations & karma.

These two are considered highly inimical to each other. They just do not get on.

Sun-Saturn combustion is not inherently "good" or "bad"— it is just nature doing its thing... and because Saturn is farther from the Sun and has a more enduring nature....
Long term implications and views

However, this combination it often highlights a karmic lesson involving ego (Sun) and discipline (Saturn).

This may manifest as finding that the people around you are not right for you.
Others may be wanting elevated status by being a hanger on to those in authority and appearing committed to this person / group may darken your reputation in time to come.

Others still may grab hold of issues or become involved in an evil process or at worse through carelessness we abandon out path and instead indulge in the inferior elements in life...

Every time we admit “I am discouraged” or “I am irritated,” we become more and more dominated by depression or anger. We have accepted those limitations; we have ourselves put on our chains. This time frame is useful for developing conciousness, we have hopefully turned ""course things"", thoughts, stuff into a more  RE-fined state..

When Mercury is RE-trograde it's a perfect time to RE-evaluate, RE-think... your conscious thought processes, what needs RE-viewing?

As the Station of Mercury occurs with Rahu on one side and Mars in the other, its wise now to guard against anxiety, negetive thinking, rash actions, arguments and taking thoughtless risks.

Use this energy/time frame to remove stagnant energy, release old worn out paradigms, attitudes and opinions as there's a few days left to take the rubbish out!!!
It's good to practice being centred and grounded leading into this time as you may well need it. What your heart feels deeply will help you through so listen to it. We want to get better not bitter keep that focus.

But best not ignore the truth of " reality " with Saturn’s presence!

Great for contemplation.....zoning out...
Meditation is easier.

AND Things get lost !!!  SO be extra aware of where you put your purse, wallet keys glasses phone etc etc...

Sometimes we literally get lost, take a wrong turn, get momentarily confused, and feel disoriented... I've done it myself!! 🤪
