Our team extends a warm 'Darwin' welcome to all those attending the 2025 Australian College of Midwives (ACM) National Conference! ☀️🌴

More than 500 delegates will gather at Darwin Convention Centre this week to explore the latest research and innovation in maternity care through a series of keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, workshops, facilitated conversations, networking events and social functions. Visitors can watch from a dedicated viewing platform as competition vehicles are weighed, measured, and checked for overall road readiness before they reach the Start Line on Sunday, 24 August, at State Square, Parliament House.

The 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is coming to Darwin Convention Centre next week! 🌟

Before teams make it to the Start Line, they must prove to the Scientific Faculty and the Northern Territory Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics that their car has been built correctly and meets the 2025 Event Regulations.

Watch the Static Scrutineering event from a dedicated viewing platform as competition vehicles are weighed, measured and checked for overall road readiness!

Doors open to the public on Friday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m., with daily cultural performances, artist talks, demonstrations, and free children's workshops running throughout the weekend.

DAAF is free to attend and open to the public, making it an event not to be missed! Registration, however, is essential, so book your attendance for one of the following times at: www.daaf.com.au

This week, our team is delighted to welcome the Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA) 2025 Conference to Darwin Convention Centre.

🌟 Over the next three days, zoo and aquarium professionals, experts and industry partners will come together in Australia's Top End to share knowledge, explore sector developments and build connections. The conference program features a dynamic mix of plenary sessions, panel discussions and workshops, delivered both in-person and virtually.

For those attending in person, there's the added bonus of discovering the tropical capital city of Darwin ☀️🌴 . Conference festivities kicked off last night with an exciting tour of Territory Wildlife Park and will wrap up later this week with conservation-focused learning experiences set within the unique natural landscape of nearby Litchfield National Park.
