Currently we are experiencing extensive issues with Telstra regarding our phones which has been ongoing for 6 months.

Due to this Telstra issue, all incoming calls from Mobile Phones are not ringing in our office.

Referrals include private, Defence Force personel, EPC and referrals form in-house gastroenterologists and other specialists.

Things are looking up in Darwin and the rest of the NT as restrictions are slowly being relaxed and business can resume some sort of normality

At NTMS we are business as usual and working over time to make sure we catch up to the level of service before the COVID-19 pandemic grounded us all.

As you can understand, the volume of traffic through our phones and emails has doubled and our staff are working through everyone's queries and concerns.

We do encourage you please email us at ntmedicalspecialist@bigpond.com as emails are more easily accessible by management outside business and peak clinical hours and can be responded to in a more timely manner.

Exciting news being released by our PM that elective surgery may resume as of 26/4/20.

We thank all Australians and especially all NT residents for looking after one another during these extraordinary times as we look to find some normality back in to our everyday lives

We understand that many of our clients will be querying dates for their procedures ASAP.
We are still finalising details but as many know our Gastroenterologists are visiting specialists and will not be able to perform any procedures till NT borders are open again.

For all urgent / CAT 1 cases we do have the services of Dr Sabu Thomas, our general surgeon, who is more than capable of performing the endoscopic procedures.

Our specialists will review each case individually and be consulting all clients and providing information on when a possible procedure is likely.
