At the end of November, EASA/CORP staff from all NT offices had a two-day Planning Day to review our values and to plan ahead for the future. We were able to discuss and create a Values Board and what each value looked like for us as staff and as an organisation.
We also looked at the Psychosocial Safety Climate Survey results that came about from the survey completed early on in the year.

Anglicare delivered training around LGBTQI + which was extremely informative with great input by all in the conversation.

A team building exercise was had by all participants moving over to the Christmas Party venue where we decorated the room 1920's style for a Murder Mystery event that evening.

Various projects have now been designed through the many discussions and anonymous feedback obtained which will be implemented in 2023. In all, the Planning Days were vital to understand the needs of our staff, organisation and what we can do to strengthen our capacity going forward.

We are grateful for those who attended and look forward to what is install for EASA in the new year.

As the end of the year approaches, it is the perfect opportunity to consider your training needs for 2023.
What have been your organisational concerns in 2022?
How is your teams wellbeing ?
What personal development have you been meaning to get involved in?

Some training topics that you may consider to get the year started are Resilience and Mindfulness as we regroup from a hectic festive and holiday season.

If you are not 100% clear on your training needs and would prefer to develop a strategic training program/plan that is tailored to your organisation, then why not book in a scoping meeting with our trainers?

To book a scoping meeting please give Jenna a bell on 8941 1752 or send an email at corp@easa.org.au to set up a time via an online platform (Zoom/Teams).

As we head to the end of the year it is timely to take care of our wellbeing and treat ourselves, so follow our socials for further self-care strategies and stay connected.

With the lead up to Christmas, we may find ourselves in a flurry of social activity, work deadlines and family commitments. So how do you 'look after you' and your wellbeing during this busy end of year festivities? We are taking the challenge to choose one from our list.

- Coaching about options for your future/career
- Clinical Hypnotherapy to add grit to ideas for behaviour change, ie. eating/exercising/health changes/sleep improvements
- Share a problem and have a problem solving session using a GROW coaching tool
- Move on a year's worth of trauma exposure via a Clinician and EMDR session
- Start a new meditation/mindfulness practice
- One on one training in an area of growth, ie. Performance Management
- Be a leader less-alone – connect with a leadership coach and share the challenge
- Book a facilitator for your next work group meeting to cover the way forward

Treat another – which is like treating yourself because of oxytocin release

Let us know how we can support you to treat yourself!
