This year’s theme — "Little Footsteps, Big Future" — reminds us that every step our children take is full of hope, resilience and possibility. From the stories they carry to the paths they create, First Nations children are leaders, knowledge holders, and the future of community.

TeamHEALTH staff were honoured to attend the Darwin NAIDOC Ball, celebrating 50 years of NAIDOC and the future of Indigenous leadership.
From heartfelt speeches to joyful dancing, it was an evening rich in culture, respect, and community spirit.
We're proud to stand alongside First Nations Elders, leaders and young change-makers.

Kat met with our CEO Rina Bruinsma and Deputy CEO Kylie Ella to learn more about the vital mental health support TeamHEALTH provides across the Top End, and how our services empower individuals on their recovery journeys.

What an absolute privilege!

Walking Together for NAIDOC Week ✊🏽💛🖤❤️

This week, we proudly joined the NAIDOC Walk, alongside Rina Bruinsma - CEO of Team Health, and Amanda Doyle CEO of Yilli Housing.

It was an honour to walk side by side with strong women leading change in our communities.

The NAIDOC theme reminds us that change starts with action - and walking together is just one way we show our respect, solidarity, and ongoing commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, leadership, and futures.

This morning, the streets of Katherine filled with people as we marched together in celebration of NAIDOC Week—honouring the strength, vision, and legacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. A fantastic turnout and a powerful show of community pride!

After the march, we gathered at Ryan Park for the NAIDOC Awards. TeamHEALTH was proud to sponsor the award prizes and congratulate this year’s incredible recipients.

This morning, our TeamHEALTH team joined the NAIDOC March in Darwin—standing in solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and celebrating this year’s theme: “The Next Generation – Strength, Vision & Legacy.”

It was a powerful morning of unity, pride, and cultural strength as we walked alongside community to honour Elders, uplift young voices, and reflect on the journey toward justice, healing, and recognition.
