We had the pleasure of welcoming Member for Nightcliff, Ed Smelt, to our Bougainvillea Centre this morning! πŸ‘‹

Ed got to meet some of our wonderful participants and staff, hear about the services TeamHEALTH offers, and see firsthand the warm, welcoming space we've built together.

It's always meaningful to open our doors and share the heart of what we do, and even better when we get to do it with people who care deeply about the Territory and the community.

Thank you for visiting, , it was wonderful to have you. πŸ’™

Happy World Day for Safety and Health at Work! πŸŽ‰

Safe, healthy workplaces don't just happen, they're built by people who care. People who speak up, show up, and look out for each other.

Today we celebrate every workplace, every team, and every person making that happen. And at TeamHEALTH, we're proud to be part of making it happen. πŸ’›

Floods couldn't keep us apart for long. 🌊

Our CEO, Rina Bruinsma, Program Manager People, Culture & Quality Kristie Foreman and Program Manager Adult Supports Hiltrud Kivelitz headed down to Katherine last week to catch up with our incredible Katherine team who missed the All Staff Meeting.

Big conversations, big laughs, big feeds, and the kind of company that reminds you why we do what we do. We're proud to be part of an organisation that leads with heart πŸ’›

Anzac Day. A day to pause, reflect, and remember.

The courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served, and those who kept going in the hardest of times, is something that stays with us. In our communities, in our families, in the way we look out for each other.

Today we remember them. 🌺

Lest we forget.

We are 4 weeks into the Jabiru Family Circle, and the growth we are seeing is incredible.

Nine families, 21 people, and one very well-loved water table. This week's session was all about water play. Splashing, pouring, problem-solving, and the kind of sensory fun that kids absolutely thrive on.

What stood out most, though, were the unprompted acts of kindness between the children: older kids helping younger ones navigate the soft gym, offering reassurance, sharing space, and giving each other cuddles.

These aren't small things. They're early signs of empathy, confidence, and genuine connection forming within the group.

This is what Jabiru Family Circle is all about. We'll see you next week!

Youth Week NT looked pretty good at Darwin Civic Park this week!

We were lucky enough to be part of the National Youth Homelessness Matters Day Couch Surfing Event, hosted by Anglicare NT and City of Darwin, and the turnout was incredible.

So many amazing organisations from across Darwin coming together, connecting with young people, and raising awareness about an issue that really matters.

In the NT, young people experience homelessness at almost 12 times the national average. Events like this are a reminder of why community shows up. And we're proud to be part of it πŸ’™

There's something really special happening in Jabiru.

Week 3 of the Jabiru Family Circle brought together 26 participants across 9 families, including 2 new families who walked through the door for the very first time.

This week, .jill joined us for face painting and bubble play, and watching the kids light up, choose their favourite characters, chase bubbles across the grass, and just be kids together was a beautiful reminder of why this circle exists.

These sessions aren't just about activities. They're about families feeling supported, children feeling seen, and community being built, one week at a time.

A heartfelt thank you to our educators from the FaFT program, who bring so much warmth and care to every session. πŸ™

See you next week, Jabiru. πŸ’›

What a wonderful Session Two at Jabiru Family Circle! πŸš²πŸ›΄

This week was all about Wheels Week. Children rolled in with bikes, scooters, and all kinds of wheeled toys, sparking loads of active play, turn-taking, and teamwork. It was beautiful to see those little social skills in action!

We also brought back our soft play equipment, with kids climbing, balancing, and building confidence through movement in their own way.

With school holidays in full swing, we welcomed a wider age range this session, creating a warm, inclusive vibe with something for everyone.

A big thank you to all 27 participants across 9 families who joined us! πŸ™Œ

πŸ“’ Heads up! Based on your feedback about the heat, we'll be trialling an earlier start time of 9:00am at future sessions. We hope this makes things more comfortable for everyone.

We love seeing this community come together. See you next time! πŸ’›
