💉 Safe Sharps Disposal at Florida Beach Pharmacy 💉

For those living with diabetes or using injectable medications, sharps are a part of everyday life. But safe disposal is vital for your health, the community’s safety, and the environment.

At Florida Beach Pharmacy, you can:
✅ Drop off your used sharps at our designated disposal bin in-store (pictured with our pharmacist, Claire).
✅ Purchase your own approved sharps containers for home use.

🔒 How to dispose safely:

Always place sharps immediately into a proper sharps container (Australian Standard or puncture-resistant plastic with a screw top).

Never use soft drink bottles, glass jars, or cans, they’re not safe.

Bring full containers back to us or other designated disposal facilities for safe collection.

Safe sharps disposal keeps everyone in our community safe from accidental harm and supports a healthier environment.
