WFCCN is proud to share that our Board Member, Ged Williams, represented critical care nurses globally during key side meetings at the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva.

From joining the G4 Alliance to address the gaps left by shrinking WHO funding and workforce, to engaging in powerful conversations about writing WHO resolutions and shaping future global health leadership β€” Ged brought the voice of critical care nursing to the heart of global dialogue.

Ged also participated in a vibrant meeting of global nursing and midwifery leaders, reflecting on the second State of the World’s Nursing Report and its vision for the profession’s future.

At the WHO Acute Care Action Network, Ged joined speakers from Cambodia, Kenya, Nigeria, and Romania, sharing insights and learning from inspiring colleagues working to improve acute care worldwide.

🀝 From reconnecting with our partners at the World Federation of Intensive & Critical Care Medicine, to shaping new strategies for collaboration β€” these days in Geneva reminded us what’s possible when passion, expertise, and purpose come together.
