At Dayboro Medical Centre, we believe that quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone — without financial barriers. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we are now a fully bulk billing practice. This means that for all standard consultations, you will not have any out-of-pocket cost. We bill Medicare directly, so you can focus on your health — not the cost of care. What Bulk Billing Means
Bulk billing covers your appointment under the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), so the full cost of your consultation is paid by Medicare. There’s no gap payment, no need to pay upfront, and no paperwork — just accessible, quality medical care for you and your family. Services Covered by Bulk Billing
We bulk bill all standard GP consultations, including:
Routine check-ups
Skin Checks
Management of chronic conditions
Referrals and prescriptions
Preventive health care and screening
Children’s health and immunisations
Mental health care plans
This applies to all patients, regardless of age or concession status. Services Not Covered by Medicare
Some services fall outside Medicare’s standard rebates and will continue to attract private fees. These include:
Iron Infusions
Excisions, minor procedures, and specialised treatments
Insurance or pre-employment medicals
If any of these apply to you, our reception team will provide a clear estimate of costs before your appointment. After Hours Consultations
After hours consultations are available for urgent medical matters. To organise an after hours consultation, please call the practice number on (07) 3425 1427 and listen to our after hours message. Home visits are available at the discretion of the treating practitioner. Our Commitment
