You may have seen this familiar face around — whether it’s at Dayboro Pharmacy, volunteering her time at the Dayboro Footy Club, or back in the day teaching your kids to swim at the Dayboro Pool 🏊‍♀️🏉💊

Meet Karen 👋
With over 20 years in pharmacy, including plenty of experience in hospital and hospital pharmacy settings, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.

She’s also the shortest member of the crew — much to Sandra’s absolute delight 😄

💊 What do you love most about working at Dayboro Pharmacy?
* Being able to help our community with their healthcare needs and working side by side with a great group of people.

🙋🏼‍♀️What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at Dayboro pharmacy?
*Going camping with my family and friends. Watching my children play sport or just relaxing in my pool.

🗣️ What’s one word your friends or family would use to describe you?
*FunSponge as I am always the over curious one

✨ Where is the most interesting place you have travelled?
*Snow-skiing in Japan with my husband.

⭐️ What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
*My ability to say “can’t be knowing or can’t be caring” in the correct nuance to make my colleagues laugh! Hey when you work in healthcare, sometimes you just need to lighten the mood!

It may not feel like it but today makes it 14 years in business in Dayboro.

From the first script to knowing everyone’s names, thank you for trusting us with your health, your questions, and occasionally your “is this meant to look like that?” moments.

Dayboro Pharmacy will be CLOSED on Monday 26th for the Australia Day public holiday.

We hope everyone enjoys a relaxing day soaking up the sunshine, spending time with family & friends, and celebrating all things Aussie 🌿🦘

💫 Meet the Team Mondays ✨

He’s been around for a while, but today we’re sharing a little bit more about Andrew!

Senior Pharmacist and Owner of Dayboro Pharmacy since 2012. He’s also been living in town since 2014.

💊 What do you love most about working at Dayboro Pharmacy?
The people. We get to work closely with a great bunch of doctors and other healthcare professionals, we have an amazing team of staff who feel like family (and in some cases actually are), and we get to serve the most appreciative, respectful, generous and laid back customers/patients. I know some of that might sound a bit corny, but it’s why I said for years there really isn’t anywhere else like Dayboro.

🙋‍♂️ What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at Dayboro pharmacy?
I can’t sit still, so my favourite thing has changed over the years from hiking and woodworking, to riding an e-scooter before it was “cool/dorky”, then electric skateboarding and dirk bikes. Then chuck in travel, photography and exercise as mainstays, with a sizeable helping of family time since Matty and Evie were born.

🗣️ What’s one word your friends or family would use to describe you?
Dorky with a dirty sense of humour.

✨ What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I have a 3rd nipple…nah just kidding…I’m one of 5 pharmacists in our immediate family (makes for really boring dinner time conversations)
