💫 Meet the Team Mondays 💫

This week’s spotlight shines on another one of our junior pharmacy assistants, Lily.

Lily has been with us for two years, covering Saturday shifts and afternoons while somehow managing to juggle her senior year of high school and plenty of extracurricular activities. We’re not quite sure how she fits it all in!

A true Dayboro local, Lily also has a keen interest in marketing. She’s become our resident teenage translator, keeping the rest of the team up to date with the latest trends and educating us “older” staff on what the kids are saying these days… which definitely keeps us on our toes (and occasionally confused 😅).

💊 What do you love most about working at Prime Compounding/Dayboro Pharmacy?
🗣️ “The thing I love most is definitely the people. We have such an amazing, funny, hard-working team, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it!”

👩🏻 What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at work?
🗣️ “My favourite thing to do when I’m not at work is hang out with my friends or listen to music. I love going to concerts and festivals — live music is probably my favourite thing in the whole world! I also love playing with my mini foxy, Barkli, who is probably the naughtiest dog I’ve ever met!”

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 What’s one word your friends or family would use to describe you?
🗣️ “Funny.”

✨ What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
🗣️ “I’ve been taking singing lessons for nearly 10 years and have represented my school twice at a state level for acting! I can also recognise every One Direction song within five seconds of it playing — I’m the biggest One Direction fan ever!”

We are so lucky to have Lily as part of our team and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this smart and talented young lady.

🏗️ Build Update – It’s Starting to Take Shape! 🏗️

For everyone following along at home, we’ve got another exciting progress update on our new pharmacy and compounding build next door!

You may have noticed a lot more action happening on site this week… and for good reason 👀

The first walls are officially up! 🙌

Jake the Brandon the builders have been working hard, and it’s so exciting to see the vision starting to come to life.

This is a big step forward — not just for us, but for our growing Dayboro community 💙

We can’t wait to share more updates as things progress.

💫 Meet the Team Mondays 💫

This week we’re shining the spotlight on our young and up-and-coming pharmacist (in the making!) — Ella 👩‍⚕️

Ella is a local and currently in her 2nd year of a Bachelor of Pharmacy at QUT. She’s balancing university life with shifts here at the pharmacy — and you may have even seen her poolside teaching your little ones how to swim at the Dayboro Swimming Pool! 🏊‍♀️

Although Ella has only been with us a short time, she’s already built experience across all areas of the pharmacy — from dispensing and Webster packing to serving customers and even assisting with compounding when needed.

💊 What do you love most about working at Prime Compounding/Dayboro Pharmacy.
🗣️ What I love most about working at the Dayboro Pharmacy is the People. We have a team that works hard, laughs harder, and turns the busiest days into something enjoyable. Grateful to be part of such an awesome team!

👩🏻What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at Work?
🗣️ My favourite thing to do when I’m not at work is spend a day at the beach (when the weather permits). I also LOVEE to sew. I mostly sew things that I seem to only wear once. I love to spend time with my friends and family and also have an occasional night out (balance is key). I am currently in my 2nd year of studying a bachelor of pharmacy so I also spend a lot of time at uni. So far, I am loving it!

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒What’s one word your friends or family would use to describe you?
🗣️ My friends and family would describe me with as go-go-go

✨ What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
🗣️ Something people might not know about me is that i used to be a competitive irish dancer. I danced at both state and national level and i represented queensland at the australian championships for 7 years in a row 😂 I love a good Irish tune.

We love watching our future pharmacists grow, and we’re so lucky to have Ella as part of the team! 🙌💊

Meet the Team Mondays ✨

This week we’re shining the spotlight on one of our amazing Junior Pharmacy Assistants 💗

Born and bred right here in Dayboro… and let’s be honest — in a town this size, she just might be related to you 😉

Currently in her senior year of high school, she somehow balances study, shifts at the pharmacy, and still manages to bring the biggest smile to work every time.

With her bubbly personality and can-do attitude, she’s always ready to help — whether it’s serving customers, finding products, or jumping in wherever she’s needed.

💊 What do you love most about working at Prime Compounding/Dayboro Pharmacy.
🗣️ I love that there is something new to learn in the pharmacy everyday, also the people I work with. Looking after and helping the familiar faces I see all the time with their healthcare and that I can truly be myself!

👩🏻What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not at Work?
🗣️ I enjoy the beach or just spending time with family, friends, my boyfriend or with my Cavoodle poochie.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒What’s one word your friends or family would use to describe you?
🗣️ A bubbly person with a big personality. (Enthusiastic) Or as Andrew would say Snowball from ‘secret life of pets’.

✨ What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
🗣️ That when I finish school this year I would love to peruse study in medical imaging.

With aspirations of becoming a radiographer 👩‍⚕️✨ we have no doubt she’ll absolutely smash those goals.

We’re so lucky to have such a bright, motivated young local on our team.

Meet Madi 👋

With nearly 20 years of experience across medical administration, diagnostic imaging and pharmacy, Madi brings a broad skill set (and plenty of personality) to our team.

At Dayboro Pharmacy, you’ll find her Webster packing, helping our pharmacists dispense medications, and doing her best to keep our local community entertained on social media 😬📱

💊 What do you love most about working at Dayboro Pharmacy?
I love working a stone’s throw from home with a great bunch of colleagues — it makes coming to work genuinely enjoyable. The customers aren’t too bad either! 😜

🙋🏼‍♀️ What do you enjoy when you’re not at the pharmacy?
Watching my kids play sport, camping, homemade pizza and movie nights with the family… preferably with a wine or two 🍷

⭐️ Something people might be surprised to learn about you:
At the ripe young age of 33 — with zero experience — I somehow found myself playing rugby league with the inaugural Dayboro Cowgirls for two seasons! Broken finger, black eye and many bruises later… it was an absolute blast.
And before you ask — no, this old girl won’t be returning 😅

A proud local, a familiar face, and the person who somehow convinces our staff to do very embarrassing things online — we absolutely love having Madi on our team 💛
