Jess will be running The Blue Hope Ultra: A Fuss About Russ from Woodgate to Brisbane, starting this Sunday. Her journey concludes at the Police Remembrance Service in Brisbane Botanical Gardens on September 29—a powerful tribute to Detective Senior Constable Russell Sheehan whose memory continues to inspire.

This incredible effort is raising funds for Blue Hope, a charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and well‑being of Queensland Police officers and their families .

Let’s rally behind Jess as she tackles each kilometre in support of this noble cause. Good luck, Jess—the Fix Podiatry team are cheering you on every step of the way! 💙

We are excited to introduce Raelee, the newest star to join our podiatry team . Raelee has over 4 years experience as a podiatrist with a wide treatment scope. She has a history in competitive dance and netball which inspired her passion for injury rehabilitation/prevention, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal medicine. She has also completed training in pre-pointe assessment and has a keen interest in dance related issues. Kylie smashing her own deadlift record with a huge 173kg lift. Looks like it lifted itself but it's a result of years of training and hard work. On top of her lifting training, we have worked on ankle and hip mobility/stability with an array of musculoskeletal techniques including joint mobilization, dry needling, radial shockwave therapy and exercise prescription. We also treated and old right knee meniscus injury with Prolotherapy and strengthening, and foot mechanics with custom foot orthotics.

Massive congratulations to our star patient, Kylie, who just flew to Japan to become the Asia-Pacific-African powelifting champion . This was right off the back of winning gold in the Australian championship with a whopping 373kg combined total. Well done Kylie, we are so proud of you!

Our Dayboro practice turned 15 this week! That time has seen many new friends, pairs of feet and huge amount of growth. We are very grateful for the support from the Dayboro and surrounding communities that have helped us become the reputable and trusted clinic we are today. Meet our team:

Ashleigh joined Fix Podiatry in January 2024 and has been a welcome addition to the Dayboro and Woodford communities.
She brings a vibrant and joyful presence to our clinic as well as passion for patient care and succesful outcomes.

🏅 Ashleigh graduated with distinction from QUT and has a special interests in sports podiatry, injury rehab, paediatrics, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning. She's continually upskilling with certifications including Foot and Ankle Mobilization, Plantar Pressure Analysis, Dry Needling, Sports Coaching and Strength and Conditioning.

When she's not at the clinic, Ashleigh enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with her dogs, friends, and family. Got any book, recipe or restaurant recommendations? She'd love to hear them!
