Yes, sorry... we've not been very active here on social media for Daylesford Tarot and Beyond the Gate Studio, but we're still here... as busy as always and peering towards Lammas/Lughnasadh as it rapidly approaches...
David does have availability for the coming week until the 2nd week of February, where a few other commitments are pencilled in.

Then there's the ongoing farm maintenance, kitchen/herb gardens and greenhouses to tend as harvest time has already begun.

Meanwhile, in the studio, I'm doing my utmost to get the book fully underway and the more I look at it; both text photography and artworks, the more the task seems to grow... so I'll just have to put on my big girl's blouse, roll up my proverbial creative sleeves and get cracking.

Another year sweeps by... will we be sorry to see the back of 2025... will we embrace the myriad of lessons it brought us about both the evil and the beautiful goodness in people and in simply being alive or will we rush towards it, hands outstretched for more... even more things, stuff, trinkets and devices that we're told will make us happy? Consider what influences you're under when you play the games devised for you in trying to be better than rather than equal to each other.
I pulled a small spread for you... and here's a very short idea of what they hold...

Card 1... What is already with you... #17, a 6.
Don't make the mistake of thinking what you need is behind you or ahead of you because what is with you are the seeds for all you wish for. It might not seem like a lot... perhaps all it needs is small, simple choices, but however small they are, they're enough to get the ball rolling... simply begin.

Card 2... Shock of the new... another 6...
What wild unconventional voice is calling to you? It's different, unusual... it might be hard to decipher, hard to didcern its source, but there's an affinity between you and this beautiful newness, seeking to manifest.

Card 3... New birth guarded vigilantly... #24, yet another 6...
In every process towards a new start, in every new cycle of life, there is a time of vulnerability. This is natural and appropriate, like a young creature learning to walk or fly. In time, those legs or wings will become strong and powerful, but first, the process of growth and maturity has to evolve and that requires some wobbly first attempts, so don't rush... take your time... guard your new, vulnerable creations, awakened thoughts, or insights before letting them slip into the world.

A big bunch of homegrown roses for our clients and friends for summer solstice...
It's a busy time in the garden, farm and studios, but we're available between 29th - 30th for bookings on those days... then in 2026, off we go again...

Well... it has been a while since I said hello here, apologies.
The year is flying past and the wheel turns again towards summer's solstice and a season of family gatherings, so I thought I would drop by to wish everyone the simple joy of celebratory days and long summer evenings as 2025, a difficult year for so many across our planet, hurtles towards 2026.
In the week between the back to back holidays, we have appointments available on 29th, 30th and the morning of 31st December before we review next year's timetable. It's always a busy time as folk want to look at the coming year with fresh eyes... call us...

The wild folk ride
through forests green
Once a year
they're easily seen
they come
from beyond
the in-between..breaking through the veil
Horns sound bright
voices light
riding through
the dark of night..with faces, oh so pale
the Wild Hunt ride
hounds at their side
…to chase the dark away,
as the Green Lord
comes a-gathering in..those that were led astray
Green Lady waits
in a lightened glen
where the Fae folk play
They lead them
through the forests fair
to the Summerlands..faraway

Yes, sorry... we've not been very active here on social media for Daylesford Tarot and Beyond the Gate Studio but we're still here... as busy as always and post Samhain, peering into the dark half of the year as we surge through 2025 at a rapid rate...
We do have availability but it's becoming limited this next week, already with in-house bookings at the forefront of the week and two birthdays coming up, too.
Then there's the ongoing farm maintenance and putting the gardens to bed, pruning fruit trees, securing fences from the onslaught of wily foxes and the tending of this winter's seedlings for an ongoing food supply.
Meanwhile, in the studio, I'm doing my utmost to get the book fully underway and the more I look at it; both text photography and artworks, the more the task seems to grow... so I'll just have to put on my big girl's blouse, roll up my proverbial creative sleeves and get cracking.
Watch this space, as the saying goes and I'll keep you posted for the other forthcoming books inline, too.
