If you have period pain, I have a modified herbal formula to suit you.

This is a slightly modified version of Tao Hong Si Wu Tang (Peach kernel and Safflower stamens with the four ingredient decoction) to nourish blood and move stasis. The addition of Yan Hu Suo (Corydalis yanhusuo), which is part of the poppy family famous for its ability to ease pain, increase the action of moving stuck blood with a descending action, targeting the lower body by affecting the Liver and Stomach channels which both flow through the uterus.

After taking a formula like this, at the beginning you might find some extra clotting and heavier me**es than usual. But next cycle should be clearer, more consistent and lighter with less pain.

To resolve gynae problems we were taught to allow 3 months of consistent weekly herbs and acupuncture and we change the formula to correspond with the part of the cycle you are in. We might also ask you to start tracking your temperature with a Basal Body Temperature chart to ascertain the condition of your Yin/Yang balance. If you run hit, you probably have a Yang excess or Yin deficiency condition. If you are cold or have low body temps you are likely to have a Yin excess or Yang deficiency. There are diet and lifestyle changes that you can make that should change your outcomes.

If you want to be taught how to take control of your menstrual health in a positive, proactive and empowered way.....
