I'm Michael Bennett, a professional comedian, magician, new thought author of ‘BECOME A MIND NINJA’, sound healer, and inspirational entertainer. Alongside Francis Swindells, a sound medicine practitioner and personal trainer, I invite you to join us for our Balcony Brothers Chai and Chat Drop-in Session.

We gather at the Conscious Treehouse every fortnight on Thursday nights on our huge, heated balcony from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. This is an alcohol-free, cool, and conscious space where likeminded men can show up for themselves and each other. It's a chance to check in, have a yarn, share some laughs, and build strong brotherhood connections.

In this fantastic space, you can take a respite from the rat race and chill for a few hours. Connecting with other men in this way offers great benefits for a healthy mindset:

Are your daily habits centered around complaining, finding fault, getting upset at trivial things, feeling unwell, experiencing anxiety or depression, or struggling financially? I can relate. I used to have some of these habits, and they kept me in a perpetual state of dis-ease, sadness, and loneliness. At that time, I found myself being a miserable individual, always hosting pity parties for myself and extending invitations to anyone willing to join on my victim trampoline.

But that's all in the past now. I've rewritten my script, and I've embraced habits that serve me and those around me. Each day, I approach life with a sense of loving awareness and profound gratitude for the gifts provided by Mother Nature and the incredible energy that surrounds us. I've come to understand that we are all equal and entitled to respect, empathy, and compassion as fellow human beings.

One of the most important habits I've adopted is talking to myself with respect, empathy, and compassion, while treating my mind, body, and soul with the love they wholeheartedly deserve. Thanks to this single habit, I've become committed and eager to show up for both myself and others with unconditional love and understanding, recognizing that each person is on their own unique journey and refraining from being judgmental or negative.

Remember, if a habit is not serving you, it's crucial to change it. I know firsthand that this can be difficult due to years of repetition, but in order for change to take place, you must first be willing to change.

This week, I encourage you to embark on a journey to rewire your brain in favor of habits that will foster joy, love, and happiness in your life. Take the time to reflect on your habits and make conscious decisions to nurture those that bring positivity and fulfillment. P**n addiction is a complex issue that stems from the brain's response to dopamine, the "feel-good" neurotransmitter. When individuals watch p**n, it triggers the release of dopamine, creating a pleasurable sensation similar to the effects of co***ne. This can lead to a cycle where the more a person engages with p**n, the more they crave it, seeking the same dopamine hit.

The trouble with p**n addiction is that it can lead to a dependency on quick, easily accessible sexual satisfaction. Over time, this can diminish one's ability to appreciate sensuality and intimacy with a partner. It can result in a pattern of seeking immediate gratification, leading to challenges in sustaining a meaningful and fulfilling sexual connection with a partner.

For men, the impact of p**n addiction on sexual performance can be significant. It can lead to a pattern of quick sexual release, i refer to as "jack off and go," which can significantly reduce the duration of sexual encounters and diminish the depth of intimacy. This can result in becoming a "one minute wonder" in bed, impacting both the individual's satisfaction and their partner's experience.

In relationships, the consequences of p**n addiction can be detrimental. When one partner is addicted to p**n and experiences diminished sensuality and sexual performance, it can create dissatisfaction and emotional distance. Women may feel neglected, leading to a breakdown of trust and intimacy. This can, in turn, lead to feelings of betrayal and can even contribute to the likelihood of infidelity.

Heading down a new, unknown path can bring about a whirlwind of emotions. The mix of excitement, anticipation, and nervousness can create a rollercoaster of feelings that ebb and flow within us. It's an emotional journey filled with both good and negative emotions, like a tempest that rages within our hearts and minds.

When I step onto this uncharted territory, whether it's a new relationship, a different gig, or a destination, it's natural for me to experience a surge of emotions. These emotions can be uplifting and positive, filling me with hope, happiness, and a sense of adventure. They propel me forward and infuse every step with a sense of wonder and delight.

Yet, there are moments when the unknown can also breed negative emotions—fear, doubt, and anxiety may creep in, casting shadows over my path. The uncertainty of what lies ahead can be overwhelming, and it's during these times that I find it crucial to acknowledge these emotions.

In acknowledging my emotions, I come to recognize my own power. By recognizing and accepting the full spectrum of my feelings, I can breathe through them and address each situation with a sense of loving awareness. It's through this acknowledgment that I find the strength to navigate through the maze of emotions, embracing them as part of the journey.

I remind myself to be kind and compassionate to myself. I strive to refrain from making assumptions about the unfolding of events, trusting that everything is happening as it is meant to be. Loneliness is a powerful force that can have a profound impact on mental health, regardless of one's circumstances. As a guest entertainer on some of the world's largest cruise ships, I am constantly surrounded by thousands of people, and yet, loneliness can still find its way into my life. The irony of feeling lonely in the midst of such a crowd is not lost on me.

The effects of loneliness on mental health can be overwhelming. It's like being trapped in a room with the deafening sound of silence, where the absence of connection and companionship amplifies every thought and feeling. Despite the excitement and energy of being on stage performing for thousands, the moments in between can feel isolating. The constant movement of the ship and the changing faces in the crowd can exacerbate the sense of disconnection, leading to a spiral of emotions that can be difficult to navigate.

In the midst of this struggle, I have found solace in the practice of meditation and visualization. These tools have become my refuge, offering a pathway to inner peace and gratitude. Through the practice of mindfulness, I have learned to embrace the present moment and find beauty in the world around me. By visualizing the moments of joy and connection, I am able to cultivate a sense of gratitude for the incredible world in which we all reside. It's a way to anchor myself in a sea of transient experiences and emotions.

The passing of time takes on a different quality in moments of loneliness. It feels both fleeting and interminable, as if the hours stretch into eternity while the days slip through my fingers like sand. The ache for the presence of loved ones becomes a palpable weight, a reminder of the profound impact that human connection has on our well-being.

Yet, amidst this solitude, I have discovered the resilience of my own inner strength. As a Mind Ninja, I have honed my mental, physical, and spiritual fortitude. The challenges I face have become opportunities for growth and self-discovery, pushing me to delve into the depths of my being and emerge with a newfound sense of purpose.

If there is one wish I hold for others facing their own battles with loneliness, it is that they recognize their own strength and resilience. Despite the weight of solitude, there is an indomitable spirit within each of us that has the power to persevere and overcome. As the loneliness looms and the monkey mind threatens to spiral into chaos, it's crucial to remember the inner fortitude that resides within. This too shall pass, and in the passage of time, we can emerge stronger, more compassionate, and more resilient.

So, I continue to navigate the ebb and flow of loneliness with the knowledge that it is a transient visitor in the grand scheme of life. My experiences on the cruise ships, while filled with moments of connection and celebration, also serve as a poignant reminder of the universal human need for companionship and community. As I confront the challenges of loneliness, I strive to cultivate a deep sense of empathy and understanding for others who may be grappling with similar struggles. As I looked at my reflection in the mirror this morning I smiled and said… “Michael… I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, I thank you”.

I may not have always gone about things the right way in this lifetime but on my 62nd year around the sun this year I am proud of the person I have become and the vibration I provide to the planet and those in my proximity.

As I understand with all my heart that I am on a constant journey of learning and growth I have decided to set myself a task😁… this is the first picture I have taken for a 3 month Quest or Mission if you will for myself to become a better version of myself Physically, Mentally and Spiritually than I was when I was 32🙏🏻

During this 3 months I will be putting all my N.I.N.J.A skills into practice with passion and purpose.

I am writing and sharing this today to see if anyone would like to join me on this Quest👍🏼… A mission to become a better version of yourself… to raise not only the vibration for yourself but for your loved ones and those you come into contact with… to become Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually Fit so you may be able to step into each day from a place of Love Awareness and live your Dreams 👍🏼❤️

Your dreams are the preview of life’s coming attractions so be aware if you giving your attention (thoughts) to your desires or to the lack of your desires❓

My body and life is a reflection of mostly of the thoughts I think… understand your thoughts and visualisations (Imagination) are your greatest weapon which can defeat the destructive negative monkeys in your mind causing havoc in your life.

I will leave you on one of my most powerful affirmations that I have been using for years… I started for a couple of years writing this out 12 times daily in a journal… connecting the head, heart and hand together is very therapeutic and powerful.

The important thing to remember with this exercise is to have a clear vision in your mind of who you wish to become… Physically, Mentally and Spiritually before you start and DO NOT WAVER from this thought or vision… one slight disbelief in it and it will not come to fruition.

Here it is… learn it and repeat it constantly my friends… Namaste I Love You 😁🙏🏻🥷❤️

I know the dominating thoughts in my mind will eventually transform themselves into outward physical action, gradually transforming themselves into physical reality.
Therefore I shall concentrate my thoughts for 30 minutes daily upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become thereby giving my mind a clear mental picture of that person🙏🏻🥷❤️

Visualization and manifestation are essential practices when it comes to bringing our desires into reality. When I visualize my goals and dreams, I see them clearly in my mind's eye. I can feel the excitement, the joy, and the fulfillment that achieving those goals brings. I visualize with unwavering faith, knowing deep in my heart that what I desire is already mine.

I use all my senses to immerse myself in the experience of having what I want. I feel the texture, the warmth, the energy of my desires. I see the vibrant colors, the intricate details, and the sheer beauty of what I want. I taste the sweetness of success, the satisfaction of accomplishment, and the richness of abundance. I hear the sounds of celebration, the laughter of joy, and the voices of encouragement. I smell the aroma of success, the fragrance of achievement, and the scent of positivity.

By engaging all my senses, I align my entire being with the reality I want to create. I bring my desires into the present moment, as if they are already here and now. This process generates powerful vibrations of positivity, confidence, and alignment with my desired outcome.

With this alignment, I attract the people, circumstances, and opportunities that resonate with my visions. I notice the synchronicities, the signs, and the support that guide me towards my goals. By maintaining this energetic harmony, I create a magnetic force that draws my aspirations towards me.

Manifesting goes beyond wishful thinking; it requires a deep sense of belief and a deliberate shift in perspective. By seeing, feeling, and experiencing our desires with absolute certainty, we open the floodgates for them to materialize. When we hold steadfast in our chosen reality, the universe responds in kind, manifesting our intentions into tangible results.

As we now move forward into 2024, I encourage everyone to engage in this powerful practice of manifestation. Visualize your dreams with unwavering faith, activate all your senses, and let the essence of your desires permeate your being. Trust in the process, embrace the journey, and watch as your reality transforms to reflect the visions you hold in your heart.

I like to think of thoughts as these powerful vibrations that can either lift us up or bring us down. Just like tuning into a radio station, we have the power to tune into what I call our "mind station" that serves us with positive and loving frequencies.

So, imagine this: I've got my own personal "Love and Gratitude" station in my mind. It's like a radio channel that plays the most uplifting and joyful tunes, except in this case, the tunes are thoughts that fill my mind with positivity and love.

The first track on my playlist is "Gratitude." It's a beautiful melody that reminds me to be thankful for all the blessings in my life. It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day challenges, but when I tune into this track, I'm reminded of all the things I have to be grateful for. It's like a warm, comforting hug for my soul.
