A great message…pelvic floor issues are a significant barrier for women in sport and exercise participation. Seeing a pelvic health physiotherapist to improve pelvic health should be the first line intervention and accessible to all.

About one in three women across all sports experience symptoms of pelvic floor disorders, and it can lead to high drop-out rates. But treatment is available — if people are willing to talk about it.
