In 2024, Australia experienced the worst outbreak of whooping cough since records began, with over 40,000 cases recorded.

Because infants cannot receive the whooping cough vaccine until they are 6 months old, we strongly recommend all pregnant women get this very safe, FREE vaccine in the third trimester in order to transfer protection to their newborn.
