The Craft of Heart and Hearth Drum Birthing Workshop is a 2.5-day immersive journey into the heart of shamanic tradition, held in the healing embrace of Heartland Meadows Retreat near Gympie, Queensland. 🌿
In this sacred space, you will work with natural hides, handcrafted hoops, and the wisdom of ancestral ceremony to birth your own medicine drum — a living, breathing companion for your spiritual path. Every drum that emerges from this workshop carries the unique signature of its keeper. Every strike of the mallet is a conversation between your hands and Spirit. 🥁
Heartland Meadows holds you gently throughout the 2.5 days — with a meditation room, magnesium pool, infrared sauna, cosy accommodation, a nourishing kitchen, and open outdoor spaces where the land itself becomes part of the ceremony. You bring only yourself and a 30cm stick. We provide everything else. 🪶
This is not a craft class. It is a rite of passage. An unfolding. A return to something you have always known but perhaps forgotten how to touch. Women of all ages — from their twenties to their seventies — have walked out of this space forever changed, drum in hand and spirit alight. ✨
