A MONTH TO BE COMMUNING WITH NATURE IN PERSON AND WITH YOUR CRYSTALS TOO!
September is a huge month Energetically given we have just passed through the first Eclipse of the month and the first of this new Eclipse Season. It is also a change of season and this month numerically corresponds to the number 9. Today infact is a powerful portal as it is the 9th day of the 9th month in a Universal 9 year. Being the Ninth Month it heralds in many endings along with new beginnings. In fact, each year in those last months from September to December we have many endings in various aspects of our lives, some we are conscious too, and some not so much.
This year however with it being a Universal 9 Year and the Eclipses(Moons Nodes) being in the Signs of Pisces and Virgo this energy is somewhat amplified and very much tied to Karmic Endings for many of us. Each month I identify and share a theme to sum up the energies we are set to encounter or ways to assist us in navigating forward. Last Month it was Fire and Light. This Month the key is to Commune with Nature.
Why, do you ask. I have already mentioned we are in a new Season, here in the Southern Hemisphere it is the season of Spring, a time recognized for new beginnings so Change is showing up for us all and if we are paying attention we experience the beauty, miracles and majesty of the unfolding of new life and growth when we tune into Nature in Spring. As we do so we find we are gifted with Clarity, Guidance, Grounding and Balance.
All four of these aspects can assist us to navigate our way forward into the unknown. When we are feeling more balanced and calmer, we find it easier to make decisions about our next steps and align with our inspiration and our hearts desire with the confidence and courage to try something new, step out of our comfort zone etc.
The biggest challenge humanity is facing right now is stepping into the new, doing things differently, changing for the better, and it all starts with you. As we shift into the new paradigm upon the Earth as more and more of us are waking up, we will remember our connection to earth and all life more deeply.
This month I wanted to suggest a few crystals that will deepen your connection to Nature and assist you during this time of great transition and the beauty of this is that they all have names that will remind you of nature too.
The first one is Petrified Wood, classed as a fossil, where the trees wood is replaced by sediment containing minerals which over time replaces the wood with beautiful crystal structure. Fossils speak of Wisdom, and have a beautiful connection to our Ancestors and Past Lifes. This stone can assist us to accept change and navigate any transition.
With a strong connection to the Element of Earth Petrified Wood is a very strong grounding stone. Its a great choice for anyone living in the city who doesn't get much chance to get out into Nature too.
The next one I want to speak about is Moss Agate. This is actually a stone of Virgo. The rich green color of this stone connects us to the color of Nature and also healing. Its also known as a color to attract abundance and corresponds to the Heart Chakra. With all the crazy in the world right now, many of us are finding our nervous systems are becoming somewhat overwhelmed and this is one strength of this stone that I totally love. Moss Agates nurturing energies that sooth and calm the nerves aiding us to transition and grow by assisting us to release - release old and bad habits, fears and stress. She will give your emotional body a warm hug and deepen your connection to nature particularly with animals and the nature spirits.
The third stone I wish to mention today is Flower Agate. This particular agate is a more recent find in the Crystal Kingdom only being found in 2018 in Madagascar. It is believed that the newer minerals being found are those that can assist us (humanity) transition into the New Earth Energies. When we look at the metaphysical properties of Flower Agate we again find we have a stone that supports us with personal growth assisting us to overcome fear and doubt. It supports you to plant the seeds of inspiration and to bloom into your full potential. This one is the perfect crystal to keep close to assist you to manifest your dreams.
Whilst Petrified Wood is actually a fossil of actual nature, many get confused with the names of many other stones named after nature thinking they actually contain plant matter etc. However this is not the case. Both Flower Agate and Moss Agate are classed as what is known as having Dendretic Inclusions. The greek word origin of this term, Dendron means tree. They are called this because the patterns that appear on the surface of the stone look like plants, however most agates are part of the Microcrystalline or Chalacdony Family and these patterns occur when minerals such as manganese and other iron-based minerals fill in tiny fissures/cracks within the crystal during their growth stages.
Perhaps the greatest realization we need to hold in our awareness when it comes to all crystals is that assist in aligning ourselves with our intentions, and as we shift into the new consciousness that all stones are part of nature and will connect us with nature, as they are composed of the exact same elements and minerals that we as humans and all life is.
