Neuro-informed exercise helps the brain and body work better together.
It’s all about choosing the right movements, with the right intensity, for a clear purpose.
Our Exercise Physiologists put their neuro knowledge to work for each individual. They use their knowledge of neuroplasticity, motor control and functional movement to design sessions that support real-life goals.
Every session follows the 10 principles of neuroplasticity to build balance, coordination, strength, power and endurance in ways that matter for everyday life.
This can look like:
• Strength and power exercises that help with transfers, standing, walking, gait retraining, sport and recreation.
• Balance training to improve steadiness, reduce dizziness and lower the risk of falls.
• Aerobic conditioning designed for neurological endurance, fatigue management and safety.
• Dual-task training to support attention, reaction time and cognitive-motor skills.
For people living with stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, ABI and other neurological conditions, our EPs use movement to strengthen existing pathways and help new ones grow.
Sessions are supportive, enjoyable and always functional — building confidence and capacity one step at a time.
Because progress feels possible when expertise comes with care.
