🌿🪻Sometimes I have the privilege of mentoring creatives who just need a little extra support to bring their ideas to life. Many of the people I work with face unique barriers when it comes to employment or following their passions — but with the right encouragement, anything is possible.

In this session, I worked alongside a wonderful client whose dream has long been to share her love of essential oils and their natural benefits. Together, we shaped her vision into something tangible — and it was such a joy to create with nature and watch her confidence bloom. 💜

🖌️Something exciting is brewing at the Hunt Club! 🖼️

I’m so grateful to be working alongside this amazing group of Brimbank Studio Artists — each one of us bringing our own creative spark to the table.

Together we’re launching Creative Ground – From Studio to Community, a collaborative project designed to connect our studios with you, the community! 🎨

We’ll be delivering a series of free workshops and inviting you to peek inside our creative spaces during our Open Day at the Hunt Club Community Arts Centre on

You’ll also be able to enjoy our group exhibition running from 30th January to 2nd April 2026 — a celebration of local art, creativity, and connection.

✨ Trusting the Process – through a 10-year-old’s eyes ✨

These affirmation cards were created by a 10-year-old who came along to my Paint it Calm workshop with his mum last weekend.

What unfolded was a powerful reminder of how transformative the creative process can be — especially when we let go of “doing it right.”

At first, he felt unsure. The freedom to create without step-by-step instructions felt uncomfortable. His mum shared that he wasn’t used to working this way — he’d always been told how to make things.
But Paint it Calm isn’t about following rules. It’s about trusting your own creative instincts — one mark leading to the next, one colour calling to another.

He needed a little breather at one point, to gather himself — and with his mum’s support, he came back with courage and curiosity.
What he created next was a heartfelt collection of affirmation cards that reflected strength, gratitude, and self-love.

By the end, he was beaming. The pride and joy radiating from him was everything. 💫
It reminded me that sometimes the real art is in the letting go — and finding what was within you all along.

🎨✨ Paint it Calm – Pilot Workshop ✨🎨
Here’s the outcome from my pilot Paint it Calm session — my take on a “paint and sip,” but with a whole lot more soul.

In Paint it Calm, we ain’t doing no colouring in! 😉 We’re trusting the creative process — making a mark, following its lead, and letting the watercolours flow.

It’s about finding stillness in your body and mind, waking up the creative juices, and gently activating the sacral chakra — all while sipping on beautiful organic, mind-activating tea from Tea Tonic. 🍵✨

What a calm and meaningful way to spend an afternoon.

I have been of work for two weeks with pain.
a virus in my eyes. A sternum injury. No energy.

Everything came to a screeching stop — no work, no yoga, no driving, no screens.

I didn’t choose this pause, but I’ve been learning to accept, to rest, to just be.

So I turned to what I know best — a little art therapy on myself.
These drawings are my way of processing the frustration, the stillness, and the tiny steps of healing.

This isn’t the shiny side of life you often see on social media. This is the messy, human side.

Right now these workshops are being offered through the council at this very affordable price.
