Daffodil Day 2025 – Give Hope, Save Lives
This August let’s unite in a sea of yellow to support Australians affected by cancer. The daffodil is more than a flower—it’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and a cancer-free future

Why It Matters:

Nearly 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85
Every donation helps fund life-saving research, prevention programs, and support services
In 2024, over $3.3 million was raised—let’s go even bigger this year!

How You Can Get Involved:
💛 Wear a daffodil to show your support
💛 Participate in local awareness and fundraising events
💛 Share this message to help raise awareness
Together, we can turn every daffodil into a symbol of strength and survival.
Let’s give all we can—for all that cancer takes. 💛

Every pair of jeans worn and every dollar raised helps fund life-changing research into childhood genetic diseases through the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

1 in 20 Aussie kids face a birth defect or genetic condition like cancer, cystic fibrosis, or metabolic disorders. Your support helps turn “incurable” into “curable” – giving kids the chance to just be kids again.

Whether you're rocking your jeans at work, school, or home – you're making a difference.

This week, we’re joining the Stroke Foundation to raise awareness about one of Australia’s leading causes of death and disability — stroke.

Know the F.A.S.T. signs to save a life:
• F – Face: Has their mouth drooped?
• A – Arms: Can they lift both arms?
• S – Speech: Is their speech slurred or confused?
• T – Time: Time is critical. Call 000 immediately.

Even if symptoms pass quickly, they could be a warning sign of a more serious stroke. Acting F.A.S.T. can make all the difference.
Prevention matters too! Keep your blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes in check. Stay active, eat well, and avoid smoking.
