Do you understand what your responsibility will be under the changes? If a business continues to enforce these jabs as a work requirement then they will be on their own to be accountable under the Work Health and Safety Act (2020) WA without the backup of 'but the government says I have to do it!'.
Under the Letter of Advice from Dr Andrew Robertson, Chief Health Office WA to Mark McGowan, Premier of WA, dated the 27th May 2022, the CHO stated:
I note that the remaining Directions will only remain extant for as long as the Public Health State of Emergency, under the Public Health Act 2016, remains in place. Following this, the workplaces themselves will need to determine if an employer direction under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 or other internal arrangements are needed to support ongoing high vaccination rates of their workers.
