Where am I?

I'm travelling to attend a storytelling workshop so I can:

🎤 hit the punchlines more often
🎤 evoke more emotion in my stories
😎 and to be really honest, I'd love to be a lot funnier.

When you live and have a business in a regional area, there's always travel to cities, in my case Perth.

So where am I? Hint: I'm halfway....

Hey Millennials,

I'm working on a top secret project. I'm looking for a specific type of person to be involved and you might be a fit.

Mission of this project:

To help women and LGBTQI+ folk to go through IVF and family building with grace and ease

To support ALL kinds of families to grow a new generation of deeply loved change-makers because that's what the world needs right now and in the future

To develop new ways to talk about the challenges of family building, including infertility and loss, while maintaining that life is to be celebrated.

Here's the criteria to be part of this project:

You are a women or LGBTQI+ person who has begun family building

You want easy ways to stay joyful through the deepest of emotions and longest span of uncertainty

You want to stop feeling isolated and start feeling understood

You are kind, cool and coachable

You would like to hang out with me

You can keep a secret.

The waiting and uncertainty of IVF effectively multiplies choices, like skipping ahead to play out all the storylines of the main character in the ‘Choose your own adventure’ books.

An increase in stress is a normal response to the many unknowns of IVF and complex family building and having a practiced framework for decision making will help.

This webinar is practical so come along with one single problem or decision that is weighty or that you have been delaying or going back and forth on – it doesn’t even need to be an IVF or family building topic – just ONE, BIG PROBLEM that’s bothering you (or you have been trying to ignore).

I’ve created a short 5 question survey to learn more about how I can better support women and LGBTQI+ folk through IVF and Family Building: https://mqkcnfmumia.typeform.com/to/PWTdLcSR

1 in 6 people experience infertility, often in silence, so if you share this link, chances are many folk you share it with will have intimate knowledge of the experiences I ask about and may be very happy to add their voice, particularly as this week in National Infertility Awareness Week in Australia and the US.

I am interested in hearing from women in their thirties or early forties, those trying to conceive, those family building with a donor or surrogate, solo-mums-by-choice, and those who have been through IVF or fertility treatment.

There’s also an option at the end to book a chat with me if anyone would like to be heard or seek support.
