Welcome to 2022! We hope everyone has had a restful and enjoyable holiday period. As the new year begins, we wish to inform our clients that the team at Into Minds will be continuing to offer face-to-face assessment sessions in 2022. We have a COVID-19 safe plan which ensures appropriate precautions are in place to protect our clients, our team, and the community. We will be in touch with our clients directly regarding how we can safely work together to ensure assessment needs within our community continue to be met while managing the risks associated with COVID-19. We would like to thank everyone for their consideration and patience as we navigate through these new and evolving procedures.

We would also like to take the opportunity to thank our clients, our colleagues, and our families for supporting us during what has been a wonderful first year of service at Into Minds. We are looking forward to working with you all throughout 2022.

After traumatic events, children and teenagers might be upset, angry, withdrawn and so on. It helps to talk, stick with routines, and work through feelings.

Have you met the directors of Into Minds?

Megan and Carly are the founders and principal psychologists of Into Minds. They met while working on the Tasmanian Healthy Brain Project at UTAS many years ago, where their passion for developmental psychology and the mind and brain began. After working as psychologists for several years Carly and Megan joined forces to launch their own private practice, Into Minds, with the vision of helping individuals access neurodevelopmental assessment services as quickly and easily as possible. Megan and Carly are passionate about paediatric psychology and aim to provide relevant and practical strategies for individuals, families, educators and carers in school and community settings. Both mums with young families, Carly and Megan appreciate and understand the importance of taking the time to individualise assessments and make the process a positive and helpful experience.

Into Minds welcome new clients requiring psychological assessment. We are not currently accepting new clients for therapy. For more information about their background and services, check out their individual bio’s on the website: http://www.intominds.com.au/about-into-minds/

Welcome! Into Minds is a new mobile psychology practice servicing Launceston and surrounds. We are currently taking referrals for psychological assessments and strive to keep waitlists as short as possible by making assessments our primary focus.

A psychological assessment can evaluate thinking, learning and behaviour and assist in identifying ways to support learning, development, and well-being. An assessment can be used to assist in planning school programs, to identify needs for special services, and to help access resources in the community.

Over the coming weeks we will be introducing you to our wonderful team members.

We look forward to hearing from you
