Meraki by LeanneLi

Meraki by LeanneLi MERAKI means to do something with love, passion and soul. To put "something of yourself" into what you are doing. My dream has always been to work with horses.

Heart-led healing for horses & humans
Meraki Method | M.E.N.D Framework
(Movement • Energy • Neurology • Dynamics)
🩷 Nervous system regulation
🖤 Adaptive movement
🤍 Energy-based therapy

Honoring The Homes Technique developed by Dr Jessica Homes My previous 'work life' took me on a totally different direction working in an office, surrounded by four walls. Now that chapter has come to an end, I

can focus on where my heart lies...being with horses. I know each horse is an individual, with their own quirks and horseanalities. There is no one-size-fits-all solution when your equine friend is injured, in pain or generally feeling down. That's why I work with you to treat muscular tenderness & stiffness, assist with promoting healing and general wellbeing. Having trained and worked with Dr Jess from Holistic Equine, our lovely amazing pocket-rocket-encyclopedia, who passed in January 2023. Hoping to do her proud and continue her legacy, I offer SCENAR Therapy and Dr Jess' very own HOMES TECHNIQUE for you and your equine. I also have Equissage as an add-on complimentary therapy. I believe a combination of modalities can work wonders. I can work out a co-treatment plan in combination with equine chiropractors, body workers and bowen therapists to treat your four-legged family members. I look forward to meeting you and your ponies with Heart, Harmony & Healing. Always with Meraki, Leanne

This International Women’s Day, we recognise the extraordinary women whose courage and determination have helped raise awareness of the dangers of asbestos and protect others from its devastating impact.

We honour Carol Klintfält OAM and Serafina Salucci OAM, two remarkable advocates who, during their battles with mesothelioma, worked tirelessly to ensure Australians understood the risks of asbestos exposure. Their determination to educate others created a lasting legacy that continues today through the work of the Asbestos Education Committee and the resources available at asbestosawareness.com.au.

We also acknowledge our ambassador Cherie Barber - Renovating For Profit, whose ongoing support helps share vital asbestos safety messages to homeowners and renovators across Australia.

Today we also remember Leah Smith, a young mother from Mackay who tragically lost her life to mesothelioma after being unknowingly exposed to asbestos as a child. Leah was determined that her story would help prevent others from suffering the same fate. Her family continues to honour that wish through Ride in Shorts for Leah, supporting asbestos education and awareness.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, leadership and legacy of women whose voices continue to drive change and help save lives.

💜 Their courage continues to inspire and protect future generations.

I’m so glad more & more people are understanding that not all saddles fit all horses. And their comfort & movement are being taken into account. Working with the nervous system, and listening to the horse, certainly makes you aware of the importance of freedom or movement, and things to look out for.

🔥 2026 — Year of the Fire Horse 🔥
(17 Feb 2026 – 5 Feb 2027)

The Year of the Fire Horse is about momentum, courage, reinvention, and forward movement.
Bold — but not reckless.
Powerful — but purposeful.

Fire Horse years ask us to shed what no longer fits, trust our instincts, and move with intention rather than fear. Favouring those willing to evolve, adapt, and step into alignment with who they’re becoming — not who they’ve been.

At Meraki by LeanneLi, this year feels deeply aligned.

Behind the scenes, there has been quiet restructuring, refinement, and listening — to the body, the nervous system, the land, and the work itself. The Fire Horse doesn’t rush… it moves when it’s ready.

✨ New offerings
✨ Deeper integrations
✨ Refined ways of working
✨ And a stronger emphasis on regulation, resilience, and meaningful change

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what matters — with clarity, heart, and intention.

If you’ve felt a shift stirring… you’re not imagining it.
The Fire Horse energy is here — and new things are coming.

Stay tuned.

Quick horse mum reminder… cinch length matters!

When fitting a western saddle, correct cinch length isn’t just about looks — it directly affects comfort, balance, pressure points, and how secure your saddle sits.

I’ve just finished restoring the rough-out seat on Xena’s new saddle (so excited 😍), and now it’s time to buy the correct cinch. I’ll be following Wendy Winn’s fitting instructions to make sure I get it right from the start — because a well-fitted saddle starts underneath.

Happy horse = happy ride 🩷
Always learning, always adjusting.

For those interested in how the restoration of the rough out on my saddle came out … here she is. Pretty chuffed actually. It was so slick and smooth I was slipping on it … now she’s a butt grabbing machine 🤣
