Our mission is simple: personalised and compassionate care for those that we look after and funerals that reflect each individual personality.

The Funeral Collective is an independent funeral home that works with families to create unique farewells for those that have passed. We cover all aspects of funeral planning from taking care of your loved ones to their final send off. We can also assist with pre-planning, prepaid arrangements along with repatriation of loved ones to Tasmania. We are located on the North West Coast and service all areas of the coast. Our team has extensive experience in the industry and are available to assist 24 hours.

Music can turn a farewell into something deeply personal. Whether it’s a song they sang in the kitchen, a track that played during road-trips, or a melody that felt like home—these tunes help us remember who they were.

More and more, loved ones are choosing modern songs that reflect their loved one’s story—not just hymns or classics.... sometimes it can be something less known but meaningful.

We, in the office - all have our music picked out and it's always an interesting discussion. Yes, we have all changed our minds over the years 🤦‍♀️

When someone we care about is grieving, it can feel difficult to know what to say. The truth is — you don’t need the perfect words. What matters most is simply being there.

Grief looks different for everyone, and there’s no right or wrong way to walk through it. What helps most is kindness, patience, and showing up in small, thoughtful ways.

At The Funeral Collective, we believe that supporting each other through loss is one of the greatest acts of care we can give. 🌿🤍

For those who are new here, welcome. We’ve been walking alongside families in our community for the past 3 years as The Funeral Collective, creating farewells that are personal, compassionate, and a little different.

But while our collective is young, our experience is not — each of us has been in the funeral industry for over a decade. Together, we bring that knowledge, care, and heart into every service we create.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be re-introducing our team, so you can get to know the faces, stories, and dedication behind The Funeral Collective. Because when the time comes, it helps to know who’s by your side. 💚
