Free Mental Health First Aid Training for anyone in Hospitality but not adjacent Industries like car rental places.
IMPORTANT: After you register, our team will contact you to confirm your employment in the hospitality industry, as this training is exclusively for those working in that sector.
The Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants how to provide initial support to someone who is experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.
Learn:
The signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in adults
How to provide initial help
Where and how to get professional help
What sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and
How to provide first aid in a crisis situation
This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.
Evaluations consistently show that MHFA training is associated with - improved knowledge of mental illness, their treatments and appropriate first aid strategies, and confidence in providing first aid to individuals with mental illness.
You can make a difference!
You must be 18 years or older to attend.

Its that time of the year again and we are inviting families to come along and create their own personal Christmas decorations to take home. Just bring along yourselves and your ideas and we will provide the materials and bit of help if required.
Drop in to the Creative Space at the paranaple arts centre in Devonport between 10am-1pm on Saturday 13th December.
