Why?
Why Ease & Mend?
Well.
Why did i start going to gym @ 15? Because i narrowly won a fight & thought i needed to get stronger!
Why did i start personal training in 2004 - because not only did i love getting fighting fit - i found i loved moving, training, eating well & bettering myself in holistic ways & appreciated the help i got to improve & wanted to pass it along & pay it forward!
I evolved.
Why Massage? - i studied in 2008 & wasnt that inspired, UNTIL - in 2009, i badly injured myself in a competition & went to the pool house of pain with elbows Allan & got help, very, very painful help - that REALLY helped, & became obsessed with understanding concepts like myofascial release & deepening my understanding of remedial massage.
Why have i continued to massage & why will i keep evolving my practice?
Because despite once upon a time thinking i'd found the holy grail with deep tissue, intense even painful massage -it doesnt work for everybody, like a hammer is not the only tool available to a tradesman, there are other tools - & if a hammer works for you - i'm very proficient with a sledgehammer & will probably give you the strongest massage you've ever had in ways you've never had (if you wish) but i've also got a thousand other tools & techniques & pressures to ease & mend your tired or broken body & just love the puzzle of helping you figure it out - so you can work, play & move as best as you can, for as long as you can - & as much as possible - do it your way!
