Welcome to Dr Jilly Hunt to our team at Diggers Rest Medical Centre.
Dr Jilly Hunt is an experienced health practitioner with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic.
She has worked with many professional athletes and has regularly helped patients from 0-102 years of age. Her Father, Dr R Graham Hunt was a Chiropractor who worked in Sunbury for many years, his registration number was "2" in Australia and "1" in Malaysia.
Dr Jilly loves to see everybody stay in optimal health throughout all phases of life and will provide the tools for you to do so. As well as removing interference to your spine and extremities using gentle adjustments, preventing, and recovering from injuries or surgery can be part of your treatment.
Dr Jilly also provides a Holistic Life Coaching service to help you develop in the areas of life you wish to improve. This could be relevant to any aspect of life such as:
* Emotional healing from depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, PTSD, etc
* Improving relationships, conflicts, creating healthy boundaries
* Life direction, career, sports performance, work issues to help you be clear about what you want to achieve.
Dr Jilly works well with other practitioners and is happy to accept care plans from your GP (rebated by Medicare); DVA patients are encouraged and Gold Card holders have no out-of-pocket expense for Chiropractic.

We would like to welcome Dr Mamdouh Melaik back to Diggers Rest Medical Centre.
Dr Melaik received his medical degree from the University of Zagazig, Egypt 1988.
He has extensive experience in general practice. His areas of interest include cardiology, obesity, diabetes, chronic disease management.
Fees apply for consultations, procedures, and iron infusions.
Procedures include Implanon insertion and removal, ingrown toenails, and mole removal.
Bulk billing is available for pension and health care card holders and for under 16 years of age (for new patients - private fee applicable for first visit) for routine consultations.

Diggers Rest Dental Practice is delighted to introduce you to their dentist Dr Jonathan Kamil.
Born and raised in Melbourne, Dr Jonathan Kamil graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 2009. Since completing his studies, Dr Jonathan has worked in various private practices around Melbourne, and worked with a wide variety of patients from different backgrounds. He understands a trip to the dentist can sometimes be an anxious experience, and so strives to ensure patients feel relaxed throughout their visit, with his gentle and informative approach to dentistry. He takes special interest in all areas of general dentistry, particularly preventative dentistry and the promotion of good oral health habits throughout all ages. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and going on day trips around Victoria.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Diggers Rest Medical Centre would like to welcome Richika Sood.
Richika has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy and has worked in both clinic and hospital settings. She has gained training and experience across a broad range of areas including Knee, hip and pelvic conditions, lumbar spine and complex cervical spine conditions. Richika has an ever- expanding interest in the management of shoulder and knee related pain and pathologies, women health physiotherapy and treating post surgical conditions.
She will be consulting on Mondays and Fridays, starting with us on the 5th April 2024.

Diggers Rest Medical Centre would like to welcome Dr Natalie Mendis to our team.
Natalie received her medical degree from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and worked predominately in women's health before moving to Australia in 2013.
She received additional training and completed a Diploma in Paediatrics at the University of Sydney in 2016 and completed her GP specialist training and became a Fellow of the RACGP in 2019.
Her special clinical interests include women's health, paediatrics, chronic disease management and geriatrics.
Outside of work, she likes to spend time with family and friends.
