We have a new Support Worker join our team.

Kim brings a wealth of experience supporting people across all ages, from early childhood through to aged care. She holds a Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Leisure & Health, Certificate III in Fitness, and qualifications in Food Safety.

For the past eight years, Kim has worked in residential aged care while also providing personal care to people in their homes. She has a particular passion for supporting individuals living with dementia and has loved creating meaningful, engaging activities in her role as a Lifestyle Assistant at a retirement village.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time outdoors, walking her dogs, and being with her family and two adult children. Her friendly, easy‑going nature makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

What a night! ✨
Last night at Bayside Connections we spent time with amazing local NDIS & aged care providers!
It was great to see everyone come together to share ideas, build relationships and celebrate the amazing work happening in our community.
Thank you to everyone who came along and made it so special.

Jen trained as an Enrolled Nurse five years ago and has since gained experience across general medical and rehabilitation settings.
In her role as a Support Coordinator, Jen brings a combination of clinical knowledge and genuine compassion, placing great importance on building trust and fostering positive relationships.
Jen is committed to person-centred care, ensuring every interaction is respectful, reassuring, and meaningful, while supporting individuals’ dignity and empowering them to maintain their independence.
Outside of her professional role, Jen balances a busy family life with three very active teenagers. She values spending time with family and friends and enjoys travelling — or at least planning the next holiday.

Over 1 million Australians live with low vision or vision impairment 👁️

With the right supports in place — including NDIS-funded assistive technology, orientation and mobility training, and community advocacy — people with low vision can access tools that support independence, confidence, and choice. This might include screen readers, braille devices, magnification tools, or guide dogs.

February is Low Vision Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge the everyday experiences of people with vision impairment and the practical supports that help remove barriers. Accessible design, thoughtful adjustments, and inclusive systems all play a role — and often, it’s the small changes that make the biggest difference.
