Warm sunshine, calm water and a beautiful hour and a bit of paddling together- that’s why we love Saturdays!!

We had a fun session with our smaller crew- moving around the boat, sharing a mix of drills including some “crap paddling”, relaxed paddling and plenty of chatter and smiles.

We saw Sue P and Julie P about to head out for state squad training, and finished the morning the best way we know how… with connection off the water -hugs and catching up with Hayley over morning tea

A fab session coached by Lindy- and well done to Eva trying out the stroke position tonight with Lyn! A lot of paddling, before we headed off for a yummy dinner in town.

Three cheers for these warriors- Rain or shine, we show up.

A great Saturday paddle with our breast cancer survivors and supporter crew, sharing laughs, strength, and racking up the kilometres on the water.
Our hardy crew managed to get a good hour in before the rain, and then we headed out to an early morning tea.

Not many out and about- but we did see the ENTERPRIZE - Melbourne's Tall Ship sailing by- always a treat!
The Pink Phoenix weekends not done yet- we’re all looking forward to our club Christmas party tomorrow !

Even wet weather couldn’t stop our 19 unstoppable Phoenixes today!

We warmed up as the clouds lifted, and lucky us-no rain to be seen throughout our session!
Coach Julie led a brilliant session, and it was wonderful to welcome back Marita and have May with us and on the water again.

We wrapped up with a well-earned lunch at the Groovy Mama café - the perfect finish.
