Sunshine, teamwork, and two boats of beautiful pink phoenixes out training!
Our training sweeps Yvonne and Kris did a cracking job as we manoeuvred around boat traffic and raced across the harbour.

Well done to both crews paddling long and strong throughout the session. It was great to see our Come and Try paddler Hayley back again.
After regular training , Val, Nikki, Sue P, Julie P and Yvonne all had a go at paddling the boat 100m on their own -prepping for state squad tryout’s. Well done to you all- we’re so proud to see you all growing from strength to strength !

Racing was fierce in the 1km BCS races this morning. Our team mates Val, Janet and Kate are paddling with the Victorian DAA composite crew - watch out for them in boat six!

Our team had a fantastic time paddling in BCNA merch, whilst Hazel and Stacey ran the pink cake stall- selling cakes and pinking up was a great way to raise awareness and support for those affected by breast cancer.
Thank you to everyone who baked, stopped by, donated, or grabbed a sweet treat — every bit helps!

We paddled our dragon boat past the Melbourne Boat Show, through the canals, waving and shouting our pink message for Breast Cancer Awareness month!
On board today we also had a brave come and try paddler- Hayley - who’d never paddled before, and ended up paddling on both sides! Well done Hayley - you were fantastic!

We are always very touched to see so many sporting codes supporting the wonderful work that BCNA does for Breast Cancer Survivors and we’re excited to be representing Dragon Boating- a sport that actually has race categories and hundreds of teams comprised of Breast Cancer Survivors ! Many of our members first learned about the benefits of paddling via the BCNA.

We loved welcoming another new paddler Luk- to Come and Try paddling with us. A fantastic experience paddling as the sun sets. Always the perfect way to end the day.
