Thank you Andrew Malone for another connected weekend exploring Ortho-Bionomy.

Great to see Instructor Andrew Malone hosting his course with attending students Neita, Carol, Anna, Megan, Kate - Trainee Instructor Donna-Lee.

Super learning time was shared in expanding the noticing part of OB training to the next level, the wonder of what Ortho-Bionomy offers in the meeting of where people are at. There were take away for everyone. Time spent in this way together nourishes all our practitioner souls.

Hello everyone,

For my webinar in November, we will be looking to delve deeper into our own understanding of “what is Ortho-Bionomy”, its principles and techniques that are incorporated into both our private practices and our lives. Over time, you will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions regarding personal experiences, client issues, working with chronic or acute conditions, cancer care with clients and, of course, all phases, to name just a few of the topics. There really are no boundaries to what can be discussed, as I feel this is a great opportunity for both personal development and learning for all of us, as an instructor for our students and, of course, our clients.

Working in a full-time practice, I get to meet many different people who are on their own personal journey – sometimes this can be an extremely difficult process for them. This can also, without my noticing, have an effect on my own system if I’m not grounded and present – so reminding ourselves of the need for constant self-awareness, self-regulation and evaluation is also an extremely important aspect of our daily practices.

This process is something that I constantly remind my students of and offer ways for them to remain aligned and present within themselves and how to keep “in tune with their infinite” for the benefit of both themselves and, of course, for our clients.

In my last webinar, all these questions and more, were discussed and answered, and we soon recognised that there was an underlying theme of modelling Ortho-Bionomy in our daily lives and, in particular, a deeper understanding of the embodiment and philosophies of the Phase 6 reflex and how we can easily embody this reflex within us to help with self-correction and self-awareness, allowing us to “silently” model this during our sessions. This then allows for “clarity” to occur on all levels, for our clients to resonate with and allowing for a deeper understanding on a proprioceptive level for change to occur and be “learnt” from.

We also discussed the use of some of the Australian bush flower essences to help us to come back into ourselves, before, during, and after each session.

This was a great learning experience for us all, and I look forward to sharing (and learning) my experiences with you all in a very Ortho-Bionomy conversational mood.
