We are pleased to take the opportunity to highlight National Reconciliation Week 2025, featuring the theme “Bridging Now To Next” and the importance of our advocacy for access to dental services for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We recognise the vital need for culturally safe, equitable and community-led oral health care and are proud to support the valuable work the Indigenous Dental Association Australia (IDAA) undertakes as the peak body for Indigenous dental health in Australia supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Oral Health Practitioners (OHPs).

National Reconciliation Week is held from 27 May to 3 June each year, with the dates commemorating two key milestones – the successful 1967 Referendum and the High Court Mabo Decision respectively.

Learn more about National Reconciliation Week 2025 here:

Visit the IDAA website here:

Let's actively continue to commit to Bridging Now To Next in order to make equitable oral health a reality.
