These are photos I took from my morning walk🌻

Flowers are such a source of beauty and comfort to me partly because my mum was a flourist before she was a nurse. So colourful flowers remind me of simpler times...before adulting got in the wayπŸ˜‚

This is a great grounding tool (grounding= ways to anchor back into your environment or your body especially when your mind is busy). Here's 2 ways:

1) As you walk, choose a colour and observe where you see that colour pop up (example: notice all the red things around you)

2) Choose one sound to focus on. I love listening to all the Australian birds.

Once you've done this, see if you can slow and deepen your breath❀️

Something I hear in my private practice from clients is "I know doing these things help but I never do them".

So get curious...what are barriers to practicing things like grounding? What's the resistance to it?
