Our beautiful resident carpet python has been spotted relaxing in the Japanese garden again. We love seeing him (or her!) quietly exploring down at the bottom of the garden - another reminder of the peaceful, natural environment here at Katie Rose Cottage Hospice. 💙🌿

It is World Mental Health Day and we're doing our part to help raise awareness - this year's theme is fittingly "It is time to prioritise mental health in the workplace" and here are our wonderful crew of volunteers at the Katie Rose Cottage Hospice Op Shop - Maroochydore!

💙A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful artists at Tinbeerwah Art Group 💙

We welcomed Mary and Jan to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice, where they presented our CEO, Bec, and one of our palliative care nurses with an incredibly generous donation of $2,000!

We are truly humbled by their thoughtfulness and ongoing support for a community organisation like ours. As a charity, we rely heavily on donations, community fundraising, and bequests to keep our hospice running. Government funding only covers a small portion of our nurses’ wages, so every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a meaningful difference.

Each dollar goes directly towards the care we provide, at no cost to local people in our community who need us most.

Thank you again to everyone at Tinbeerwah Art Group for your generosity. We hope our tranquil gardens and peaceful surroundings may inspire some future works of art 💜

It was a glorious, sunny Sunday for the annual charity car show by Roadrunner Car Club Inc. in Chaplin Park, Noosa!

The lineup of meticulously kept cars of so many makes, models and vintages was impressive and the friendly lineup of supporters and car enthusiasts was wonderful too - thank you for generously giving for our Hospice

We are immensely grateful for the support of the car club's members and Bendigo Community Bank Sunshine Coast for this fun day of fundraising💙
