Regardless of where you chose to have your baby it can be stressful.
During pregnancy, birth and early life, babies experience many physical and sensory events. Sometimes these experiences can create tension patterns within the body or overwhelm the nervous system.
When this happens, babies may communicate through unsettled behaviour, feeding challenges, difficulty sleeping or general discomfort.
Rather than seeing these responses as problems to be fixed, I see them as the body’s way of asking for support.
I believe that when we listen carefully to what a baby’s body and nervous system are expressing, and respond with gentle, respectful care, the body often knows exactly how to find its way back to balance.
Craniosacral therapy offers a calm and supportive space for this process to unfold.
My role is simply to listen with my hands, support the nervous system and allow the baby’s body to release what it no longer needs to hold.
