Exciting Updates for Term 1, 2026
As we come to the end of term 4, we have a few team updates for 2026. Our wonderful NDIS Childrenโs Therapist Jess will be taking maternity leave and will return later next year. Chrissie our 2nd NDIS Childrenโs Therapist is moving on for personal reasons. We are so grateful for their dedication and the incredible support theyโve given our NDIS client group this year.
We are thrilled to welcome Tammy and Naomi as our new NDIS childrenโs therapists who will be providing Capacity Building session to our NDIS clients in schools and early childhood settings. Both therapist will be beginning in mid January 2026.
๐ฆ Tammy is an exceptionally rare unicorn, being both early childhood education (kinder teacher) and primary years qualified. She brings over 12 years experience in primary and early childhood education. Tammy has done extensive work as a relief teacher in various primary schools and more recently, has led programs for three- and four-year-olds in several kindergartens. Her passion, caring nature, and strong communication skills have allowed her to build meaningful partnerships with children, families, and colleagues. As a dedicated teacher and a mother of three boys with diverse needs, Tammy has a deep understanding of childrenโs emotional and developmental needs. She is passionate about supporting children to build resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. Tammy is enthusiastic about applying her extensive experience to her new role, bringing both professional expertise and personal insights to make a lasting, positive impact in the lives of the children she works with. Tammy will be working 2 days a week, with both early intervention kids and over 9s, providing outreach to kinders and primary school.
๐ฆ Naomi is early childhood qualified (kinder teacher). She has experience working with the 0-9yrs age group. She is passionate about child-led learning and creating neuro-affirming, inclusive, nurturing spaces where childrenโs voices are heard. Naomi is skilled in supporting social and emotional development through play based learning, storytelling, sensory play, and co-regulation strategies. As a dedicated educator and a mother of 2 girls, Naomi has a deep understanding of childrenโs emotional and developmental needs. She is excited to collaborate with families to help children build confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. Naomi will be working 1 day a week, with early intervention kids-under 9s, providing outreach to kinders and primary schools.
๐ Our NDIS Services โ Quick Recap
We provide Capacity Building sessions to help children develop skills in communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence. Using play-based approaches, activities, games, co-regulation, and role modelling, we focus on connection, engagement, and strong therapeutic relationships. Our work is attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming, and sessions are offered weekly or fortnightly in schools and early childhood settings (travel fees may apply).
