We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Zaheen Monzoor to Riverstone Medical Practice!

Originally from Sydney, Dr. Monzoor studied medicine at the University of Queensland and has worked at Ballarat Base Hospital, Northern Hospital and Mercy Women’s. She has a special interest in women’s health and preventative medicine, and is passionate about supporting patients through every stage of life.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three cats.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Fady Mohareb to Riverstone Medical Practice!

Dr. Mohareb completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame in Perth and brings over 10 years of hospital experience to general practice. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, men’s health, skin checks & procedures, and travel medicine. He enjoys getting to know his patients and working with them to achieve their health goals.

Outside of medicine, he’s a proud dad of four who enjoys basketball, swimming, and travelling.

New Doctor Joined Riverstone Practice Family

Dr. Marwa Al-Bana is a new GP joining Riverstone Medical Practice in Doreen

Dr Marwa has special interest in women’s heath , paediatrics and all aspects of general practice .

Alongside her full-time role at Riverstone Medical Practice, Dr. Al-Bana is currently pursuing a Diploma in Women's Health at Box hill Hospital, Eastern Health which she has special interest in.

Dr Marwa speaks English , Arabic and Kurdish . She is passionate about building strong patient relationships and providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and respectful care.

Dr. Uma is a dedicated health advocate with a strong passion for delivering holistic care to her patients. With a wealth of experience in both public hospitals and private practice, she brings a diverse skill set spanning general medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, and psychiatry. This broad background allows her to deeply understand the multifaceted nature of general practice and cater to each patient’s unique needs.

Our busy Medical Practice is Hiring!!

Receptionists Required to work with a flexible roster.
8:30am to 1:30pm or 1:30pm to 6:30pm Mon to Fri
9am to 1pm Sat and Sun on 3 week alternating roster

Your role involves being the first point of contact for all our patients (in person, over the phone and via email) and giving them the quality care that they need and deserve.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients upon arrival
• Assisting patients with booking and amending their
appointments
• Answering phone calls and redirecting them appropriately
• Handling busy phone lines, fax's and emailed enquiries from other health care providers
• Ability to take direction and ask questions when required
• Provide quality care and service to patients
• Ensuring confidentiality of patients' records and management of their information
• able to Multitask, work under pressure and as part of a team
• Immaculate presentation
• Punctuality & Reliability is a MUST
• Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner

We prefer the successful applicant to possess the following attributes:

• Previous medical receptionist experience with a min 2 years
• Knowledge of Best Practice software preferred
• Exceptional customer service focus
• A warm, collaborative, can-do attitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A professional, patient, and courteous manner
• Excellent articulation and telephone manner
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking capabilities
• Excellent computer skills.
